QUOTE(DanYeoh @ Dec 15 2016, 03:41 AM) Do anyone in here owned lenovo p2? Game is running smooth. However, launching the game takes about 30 seconds. But who cares when P2 has the 4GB RAM. Once launched, keep it in the background. There is an option to "lock" any apps running in the background - similar to Xiaomi MIUI. Can be played via data or Wi-Fi. Can anyone here be an angel and test out the game: Marvel's Contest of Champions I would like to know if there's any drop in frame rate when playing the game above. The original Lenovo Vibe P1 experience a lot of frame rate drop and lagging while playing the game above. Really interested in buying this device... Below is my gameplay (1st time playing this game... I'm not a gamer. Just ran thru quick tutorial...kind of straight-forward game and "addictive" too...LOL...Gonna keep it for awhile). The "tapping" and character reactions is like 0.25 seconds delay....so, I dunno whether this "delay" is acceptable or not... Battery lost 3% (about 6 mins 30 secs gaming). Volume 50% - 90%. This video is taken from Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime (3GB/32GB) running Xiaomi.EU ROM v.6.12.8. This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 16 2016, 01:16 AM |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Dec 15 2016, 08:41 PM) Interesting, as I'm deciding between P2, Redmi 4 prime and Asus Zenfone 3 5.2.Which would you recommend? My main aim is premium build (don't want glass to break), hassle-free software and good antenna reception. I'm not a gamer and battery life not a big issue. LOL...Which would you recommend? My main aim is premium build (don't want glass to break), hassle-free software and good antenna reception. I'm not a gamer and battery life not a big issue. My choice just between these three (even though there is better options, *cough* *cough* Mi5 or ZUK Z2 or LeEco Le Pro 3...) is ... P2: Why? Becoz ur aims are: Premium build (P2 > Z3 > R4P); P2 is unibody metal slim profile... Hassle-free software (P2 > Z3 > R4P); P2 is 90% stock Android, and Good antenna reception (P2 = Z3 > R4P); depending on ur location & telco coverage. My experience between P2 & R4P is more inclined towards P2 better call quality. Non-important battery life (P2 > R4P > Z3); P2 tagline is "throw away powerbanks and car chargers"...LOL... You have to test drive P2 & Z3 to feel the"premium-ness". R4P is better value for money than P2 & Z3 but MIUI ecosystem is questionable to one taste. QUOTE(miloy2k @ Dec 16 2016, 08:24 AM) This is where synthetic benchmark is needed...I was trying to upload P2 GeekBench Battery Stress scores but ended error 451. Mi Max score is about 13 hours, A9 Pro (A910F) is 12.5 hours. P2 is more than 20 hours until break the GeekBench limit...LOL..the same goes to PC Mark Battery Test. Cannot upload results to PC Mark server... So, if I repeat the same task to Mi Max or A9 Pro, both of these devices surely cannot go beyond 5 hours SoT becoz the tasks are running in the background eating the battery while screen is off all the time. P2 - amoled & big battery, almost stock Android ZF3 - good ips & ois camera R4P - budget with ir blaster IMHO, if need better cam then ZF3, otherwise P2 w/ bigger screen |

looks like it's maxed out at 1.9A which is rather strange. my moto x play can charge at maximum of 2.4A using QC2.0 certified charger.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Dec 16 2016, 08:40 AM) This is where synthetic benchmark is needed... Lol, i prefer normal user test vs those apps test hehe. To be fair all of the phone shouldn't have any background apps running. I do know miui n TouchWiz have security thingy running or something. But x sure about lenovo.. I was trying to upload P2 GeekBench Battery Stress scores but ended error 451. Mi Max score is about 13 hours, A9 Pro (A910F) is 12.5 hours. Will do normal user testing once my unit sampai. Btw share by fren of mine.. Lenovo p2 (14 hours something2) https://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/392413 Mi max (13 hours something2) https://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/305366 A9 pro (12 hours something2 https://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/387792 I assume a9 pro lesser due she have dedicated microSD thus more power usage.. vs share simcard like mi max and p2 (no mods) This post has been edited by miloy2k: Dec 17 2016, 01:13 AM |
