No experience in dealing with mycomicshop, so it would be better to make it around USD100-00 or so.

With Amazon, did few rounds of order and it is reliable but only if it is high amount to enjoy the 34% discounts eg Omnibus because they are charging USD 5-00 per book and USD 5-00 for one-time shipping fee.

So just let me know what you guys are interested in. Make it a test run first.

I've already tagged my wishlist on the mycomicshop database. If u wanna do amazon or milehigh, pls provide a link so i can tagged my wishlist there too... It doesn't matter where actually... Thanks again bro... notworthy.gif

If you wanna keep it small scale, we can always make arrangements here and PM, but if u wanna give it all you got, might have better chances opening a thread in the garage to let ppl know and probably grab some extra orders too... As usually for this kinds of orders, payment upfront... laugh.gif

I Pm u my trial run orders after CNY, bro... nod.gif

Keep us posted... rclxms.gif

Keep your wishlist up.. collect angpows and celebrate after CNY.

In the moment, small scale.. easier to control and since not many people actually buying comics nowadays too.

Of course, I would prefer to buy my wanted list from other Lowyat Members.

If you have USD 100 and above worth of order, it will be free shipping.  I will probably order after CNY, now there is too many tight schedule of assignments to do list. - shyghost

There is a collected pocket sized edition of that title.  If I can recall it correctly. - sanji-kun

USD 100 is free shipping, the probable costs shared is individual shipping and the FOREX orders.  I won't know the FOREX until received the Statements from Credit Card.  So we can only make safe assumption at x RM4-00 per USD in view of the ups and downs. - arius

r u sure it is free shipping? i get this from mycomicshop

unfortunately i haven tried out both sites, so i cant tell.

but if we really plan to buy in bulk, we need to ensure that we wont get taxed first, or else the whole thing is gonna be more expensive.

Added on January 15, 2009, 11:44 pmhehe, after doing some checking, i think mycomicshop is fine as well, am willing to see how it works out.

Added on January 16, 2009, 1:52 amjust checked wif mycomicshop, although the price of essential there is cheaper, the shipping is definitely on the high side and if i join, the shipping will increase substantially. i guess milehigh is the only option for me should i decide to get any essentials.

i have bought something from them before on ebay. this store's been around since 1960's, just like mycomicshop. the condition of the books is good as expected. NM really means near mint. nod.gif

it's a cool comic to read, but a few stuff about it i dont really like, too violent for a story about a few kids WTB a hero, a lil unrealistic for a few kids fight against crimes tongue.gif
i missed the 2nd issue, i actually start reading em from 3rd issue, then i bought the 1st issue directors cut, and soo on.., didnt manage to find the 2nd issue till now even the 3rd print... sad.gif

any new mark millar written comic i should know? right now i only buy wolverine old man logan and kick ass, both from mark millar.., already misses a few issues of F4 by mark millar sad.gif

It is hard to judge the condition of comic once it is shipped from US. Trust me, with the handling from US to Malaysia, who knows what will happen.

We can only hope and pray it will be in good condition.

Rationale of not ordering from Mile High Comics -- don't have some items that I wanted.
