Seriously, I don't know how to run this gifted All New All Different UCT.
I am more inclined to X-Men / Marvel, need a co-headmaster or headmistress eg Emma Frost. bwahahahaha.. An independent or DC related to bring the balance to the force. |

I tried, I just can't click with DC.
So far only getting Birds of Prey and Zatanna. Used to collect earlier JLA # 1 onward, but dropped out mid-way. |

True TP/HC is cheaper with discounts offered but please be aware that by supporting TP/HC, you ended up killing the title as the data
mined by Marvel/DC is based on individual issues. Hence, decision to support TP/HC kinda messed up the data which will cause your beloved title got axed. |

I get Individual issues mostly, to support the sales to ensure the title survival. Any sales that is below targeted numbers would be chopped. Of course the stronger traditional titles wil survive the chop but not the creative teams.
HCs/TPs data is gathered much later but by then the run would have been axed. Of course the decision is entirely yours. --- On other note : my haul 1. Generation Hope # 4 2. X-Men Forever Vol 2 # 13 3. What If ... Iron Man Demon in an Armour 4. What If ... Wolverine Father 5. New Avengers # 7 6. Widowmaker # 1 This post has been edited by eric.tangps: Dec 20 2010, 10:41 PM |

Well, I buy it from Splash Page but nowadays no longer carry extras for sales. So much more restricted to monthly pre-order.

From CBR news :
icemanjeff79 is back this week with a general question around how books can survive at Marvel, wondering, "In this age of graphic novels and trades of nearly all new stories surfacing soon after the last issue of a storyline sees print, how much weight do graphic novel sales have in deciding if a low-selling ongoing should be canceled or not? I'm thinking in particular of books such as 'Incredible Hercules,' 'Ms. Marvel' and 'Nova,' which were all buzz-generating titles." Alonso: Respectable trades sales certainly can't hurt a monthly title, that's for sure. Brevoort: They carry the sort of weight you'd expect, Jeff, which is to say that we don't mind getting your money in either monthly or collected edition installments. However, it is worth nothing that, more often than not, our best-selling collections tend to be those of our best-selling monthlies, and vice versa, so a book that's not doing all that great in serial format probably isn't performing any better on the collected side. This isn't an absolute rule, but it is true 95% of the time. |

Seconded, it is too well-known and there is a movie of the comic out also.
So individual issues sure expensive, might as well look for HCs/TPBKs. |
