well in my opinion the issues that are a prelude to flashpoint are essentially

the flash (vol 3) issue 9-12. (Road to Flashpoint storyline).

but if u truly wanna delve in to the current story of Barry Allen,

then u must start from The Flash: Rebirth and all the issues of Flash vol 3 (1-12). DC has stopped vol 3 btw, don't know whether they will reboot the series again or not.

enjoy bro!

also just to state that my specific wants to trade with Mighty Samson 1 & 2 are "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" storyline which Batman #685 and Detective Comics #852.

but any reasonable trade will do and of course cash is always preferred.  biggrin.gif

thanks guys.

#12 is the final issue of The Flash? shocking.gif

BTW, phonegix, if you wants to read DCU books, I recommend Green Lantern.

i think better eric be the TS.

btw, looking back at my monthly pull, its getting bigger LOL since my initial plan is to trim a bit on my monthly. They are -

ASM - imho under Slott, ASM is quite good now.
UCSM - it was weird reading Bendis' take on spidey at first, now i love the way they characters interact
Uncanny X-Men - the longest title that i collect.
X-Men - thinking of chopping off this title, but the current storyline is to good
Daredevil - i pick this up just for Paolo Reviera and Marcos Martin art
FF - i didnt know how on earth i pick this, but the first 3 issue is quite okay. candidate to be chopped off the list.
Batman - sometimes ok, sometimes not ok
Detective Comics - is dropping this one soon - as soon as Snyder leaves this title.
Batman & Robin - next month gonna be my last issue. The current creative team doesnt excite me much.
Red Robin - will be reading this as long as Niceza (spelling ?) and To is on the book.
Batman Inc - Grant Morrison. enuff said LOL

I didn't collect monthly comics but only TPB/HC. Currently only looking for TPB/HC of

1. Green Lantern (still my fav of em all)
2. Green Lantern Corps (still rocks although losing Gleason)
3. Invincible Iron Man (best giler. Nuff said!)
4. Captain America (Ed Brubaker still rocks)
5. The Mighty Thor (Quit Thor when Coipel left, plan to pick this up because of him)
6. Fear Itself (Stuart Immonen. Nuff said!)

Reserved list
Daredevil (hate what they did to Matt in Shadowland but waiting for Mark Waid issues. Miss those Bendis issues)
New Avengers (Without Immonen, the art sux..wait till Immonen returns)

Saw Walt Simonsen's Thor Omnibus just now in Kinokuniya Singapore. I was in KLCC branch on Monday but did not see it. Unfortunately I have ordered from Amazon, expect to arrive next week. Mmm it is very tempting to buy now in SG. Anyone want a copy ?

Well my monthly pull list is a bit short as i used to only collect HC/TPB.

relatively new to collecting single issues but monthly im taking:

Venom, The Traveler, Mighty Samson & Magnus the Robot Fighter (the last 2 is bimonthly so doesn't burn such a hole in the wallet tongue.gif )

N yes! Green Lantern is the best. hav all the HC's so far except Rebirth sad.gif still searching for it.

i also buy American Vampire, The Unwritten & Invincible .

rogerlee71 - Thor Omnibus version is a remastered edition and words is ... worth it.

evoHahn - any moving out sales with dirt cheap back issues? well.. considering Mile High offering 50%, hard to top that.

i recently dropped deadpool.. getting boring and better deadpol in x-force.

Just curious: How many of you collect variants?

I used to be crazy about variants, and being a completist, I tried to get every cover of ASM, regular, variants, 2nd printings, lol, nearly got me crazy.

Besides, ASM, I have most of the variants of the new Ultimate titles (Ultimate Comic Spiderman, Ultimate Comic Avengers, Ultimate Comic Armor Wars etc).

Do share what you guys have! smile.gif

Space is the one of the worse enemies of collectors. Haha I used to keep my comics in a big cupboard with lots of shelves, but now they are kept in several large Toyogo boxes.

The D&D comic is quite good, the TPB is coming out next month it takes place in the forgotten realm after the spellplague incident. Theres also a D&D comic set in the dark sun world and a Drizzt comic coming out in August written by R.A Salvatore. All published by IDW. I'm also thinking of picking up the new annihilators mini since its by Dan Abnett and Malaysia's own Tan Eng Huat but I'll wait till the last issue comes out next month and also the Thanos Imperative HC also by Dan Abnett.

The Marvel Cosmic series for the past few years have been excellent. Annihilation kick started it all. Then the Skrull Invasion was so-so, but War of the Kings was one of the best series ever. Mind blowing. Thanos Imperative also was great. Loved it. The annihilators mini is a bit of a let down, the story isnt the best and the pace is a bit slow. It's also a bit expensive since its a two-in-one comic with groot & rocket raccoon. maybe you should wait for the HC.

I used to read forgotten realms stories and also margaret weiss's dragonlance series. Wasn't aware FR is in comic format. Will look them up and see. Thanks for the heads up.
