Just got the latest Fables trade and am also reading through the Walt Simonson Thor books (I got the first trade before they announced the huge omnibus).
Speaking of omnibuses, here are the latest scheduled to be released:
The Avengers Omnibus - Volume 1 Stan and Jack, 728 pages.
Amazing Spider-Man by David Michelinie & Todd McFarlane Omnibus – 848 pages
X-Men by Chris Claremont & Jim Lee Omnibus – Volume 2 880 pages
Fantastic Four by John Byrne Omnibus – Volume 1 – 1084 pages.
X-Statix Omnibus – 1200 pages!!! Bloody brilliant.
And then we have DC
Green Lantern Omnibus Vol. 2 – 624 pages
Spy vs. Spy Omnibus – 400 pages.
Steve Ditko Omnibus Vol. 2 – 384 pages
The Hawkman Omnibus Vol. 1 by Geoff Johns and Rags Morales and Teen Titans Omnibus, Vol. 1 by Geoff and friends. Both 320 pages. Hmm. Not a very Omnibusish page count there.

just read issue #1 ... nothing much to say yet
on the other hand, works by mark millar
1) death of spider man (ultimate spiderman)
2) death of spider man (ultimates vs new avengers)
i think the storyline is quite power

Spreading some DC love here... Anyone excited about Flashpoint? the 1st issue just came out last week and I cant wait to grab it when it arrives to our shores! but with all the tie-in totaling up to nearly a whopping 47 issues(!),just have to be picky and pick up the ones seem more worthwhile. my picks: Flashpoint, Batman:Knight of Vengeance, Emperor Aquaman & Wonder Woman and The Furies. and yes, give ultimate universe a try, i find it more interesting than the main storylien.
