Yes it is, the thread regarding shots of glowing tubes at night.

Probably by 2nd half of this year, I might consider selling my WA6-SE to fund of another tube amp.

Haha we'll see , think I have more than RM1000 worth of tubes (in today's market value) after finding out the USAF 596 (saw some prices going as high as $200 USD for one on eBay )

Haha yes, actually I am thinking of putting my LCD-3 (along with the reference 16 cable) for sale on head-fi by this weekend as I really love my HD800 and decide that I should build an ultimate rig around it instead.

WA22, you really need a balanced DAC to make it use of functionality or else you're just wasting using the SE.

I saw on head-fi that a Singaporean has recently acquired DNA Stratus 2A3 and was thinking of getting one as numerous owners love it with the HD800 though EC Zana Deux also comes into consideration.

If you have enough $$, it should be the full combination from rectifier, driver/input tube and power tubes. Then you get full tube sound from start to end

Nope but for upcoming DNA Stratus, WA6 uses 6DE7 driver tube variants as both power and driver tubes. Sold my WA6-SE about a month back actually, now i'm just listening through the m903, not perfect but gets the job done.

The DNA Stratus uses 2A3 as power output tubes and 6N1P as driver tubes instead.

The Sophia 274B was meant for my old WA6 but I don't think it can support on the DNA Stratus

Hahaha next you'll be selling your active monitor focals for an actual passive speakers, then get an amp to get the party started.

I am no different from you except mine is through passive speakers + amp + dac on my table LOL and of course 0 headphones in my inventory. All on my desk

Yeap, props to Densen for making it very pleasing to the eyes. Very simple design yet elegant.

Only issue I have is that the IEC input is located very close to the speaker output terminals.
