my crazy high level audiophile friend's setup....ever wondered how side by side electrostatics and dynamics setup looks like? biggrin.gif
1 dynamics balanced setup with electrostatic setup
with plenty of cds to try out and looks pretty fierce to me flex.gif

This is for watching prawns... cos prawns dont have bass or gunshots or explosions... which suits this IEM very well cos it's pretty weak on the bass... and prawns need to use IEM to prevent sound leakage (u wouldn't want ur roommates to hear what u're watching, would u?) tongue.gif Naah, just kiddin... or am i?

think generally hifi stuff are cheaper in Singapore than Malaysia.

This PM8003 is sufficient to drive my mezzo 8 biggrin.gif . the shops demo using PM15S2 which i feel definately is better than pm8003. howevr i feel the improvement over the price paid for pm15 not really justifiable. so ended up with pm8003 lor smile.gif .

my fren brought his Bel Canto S300i to my place to try out. I can only say,...WOW. Mezzo 8 definately sings better if more juice is given to her. overall performance is improved. it is like bringing my system to another level. but BC amp not cheap though tongue.gif . a class D little monster

hi!

i do not hv any absorber or diffuser as my living hall is rectangular shape. the 2 walls beside the speakers are quite far away. behind my sofa i hv curtains. so basically i dun hv a proper acoustic treatment tongue.gif . ever thought of putting a carpet, but thinking of the maintenance, i dunwan liao. very troublesome.
