Got my first ever MKB today. It's the Tecware Phantom TKL Outemu Brown switches.
Build is quite nice, with aluminium cover protecting whatever is under, feels premium? Overall feels very solid, like you can smack someone and the keyboard still lives. Design wise, this is my most preferred design, second only to its full size counterpart. As minimal as possible. Keycaps are doubleshot ABS. One nice thing they did was adding the keycap puller at the back of the keyboard so you have no excuse to lose it. Back of the keyboard is supported by 4 rubber pads at each corner, also include stand which has rubber pad on each stand. No RGB, but there are choices of red or white backlit, mine is white. 10 types of lighting mode, although I find only the FIXED setting useful, the rest too distracting. Modular switches, at this price point, I don't think there are many or any at all? (correct me if I'm wrong) Also, I'm not sure if I can actually switch to Cherry MX or other switches in the future. Overall, highly satisfied for what I paid (RM110) sounds like insane value for money if you ask me. Will upload pics if anyone requests. |
