Hardware what happen to monitor screen?

Guys, any idea what cause this? Until now i duno what cause this? im pretty sure no hand scratch onto it. any cleaner or anything can wipe off that?

Those line2 one macam scratches wor

But yea that's stain gate issue, just bring to any SC and if all goes well you'll get a brand new screen under Apple's recall program

Just call apple they do not provide recall program on this, strange.
Gonna bring to site and confirm again, damn it, warranty is over, didn't expect this. any idea how much for screen replace?

Bro, that one is "Staingate". I faced it before, like last 3 weeks. Been sent Mac City Aeon melaka, and get free replacement. It's FOC replacement.

what exactly did you mention to Apple Care when you called them?

I called them and mentioned that my display coating was peeling off and it was not scratches.

They immediately rectified the problem and gave me a reference number to follow up at any SC provided the technician accepted my machine.

There are 2 ways to contact Apple Support. From my experience, arranging a callback is more fruitful than calling them at 1800-80-3638. I would suggest you visit Apple Malaysia's support page then go through to steps to have them call you back. Usually those from callback team are more helpful.

i told them the same and i assure them is staingate, they just said warranty is over and apple malaysia do not have any free rectification on this. sad.gif

Nope, mine is long over. The "Staingate" issues is under Apple itself withing 3 Years of your macbook purchase. So if you purchase your macbook within 3 years from the date, you will be available to get FOC replacement smile.gif

Glad to hear that bro. Reminder, don't use any type of "LCD Cleaner", just use normal water to clean. I learn from mistake haha rclxms.gif
