linksys am300 and linksys wrt54g v2.2 + thibor.

my previous record was 30 days.. then power outage. i got them connected on ups, so short power outages are fine.

i dont think these eat up power much... they take less than a lightbulb.
pc on 24h too... can say 150w average.. i think.

few hours of of aircon should consume a lot more than 30 days of modem on.

reporting from miri. consistent 180-230ms ping to 202.188.0.132 and other local servers at time of post. tested on several lines. among all, only the one with different routing (streamyx gateway) has good ping. the rest are all crap.

someone really need to xxxx them so that can start taking things more seriously... i think they clearly know everyone hate em.. but it's us including myself making them feel safe.. by just whining here.

what do we do now?....

in greece, people dare setup multiple massive fire for reasons we don't know. in malaysia, we've a lot of terrible service in every sector, yet, no one rivals in this manner. i really wonder why tmnet just won't improve.... have they been earning too little?

8 days upgrade. Always upgrade. Yet, still so many problems, never improve.

Rubbish. Sometimes I think they say that because it's already slow, and everyone's complaining.

out of 365 days, 300 days always got some kinda upgrade exercise someplace... Other countries don't upgrade that often yet still work a lot better.

Anyone know what happened to that malaysian internet exchange?... MYIX or something

It feels sick to the stomach to see when there's a new 'implementation'.. some ministers will be present.... as if they are the ones who made the implementation... i don't see other countries doing things this way. maybe i might be wrong, but it just feels as if the ministers are the ones taking credit for doing nothing. in fact, if they did propose it, it shoulda been done long ago...

but wait, why is our net so slow now, what are they doing bout it

Network Overhaul.... well if it's for cars, mechanical parts, yeah overhaul. BUT NETWORKING? Just what can they be possibly overhauling? Taking down lines? Cleaning them? Adding lubricant?

Nah, even streamyx use computers/switches/gateways for their switches.. If they wanted to do anything, they could really just test their hardware before adding them in

And why is KL affected as well?
