lately the ping has been so unstable that when i play online games... my ping ranged from 70ms to 750ms... wtf!
And i'm on 2mbps and 512kbps package. Checked the true speed and it is around 700kbps only |

damn it... keep cannot surf the internet. DSL light is OK. Managed to ping the ip address at the route gateway.

recently i've been attending calls to clients where their streamyx connection screwed up upon TMNET technician came to do troubleshooting on slow connection and blame my company IT equipment is faulty.
Guess what... they can't even differentiate between IP ADDRESS, GATEWAY and DNS IP. IP ADDRESS : 192.168.1.2 Subnet Mask :255.255.255.0 GATEWAY : 192.168.1.1 DNS : 192.168.1.2 where the modem IP address is 192.168.1.254.  Resulted my client wasn't able to access VPN for several weeks until the technician in the end concludes that the workstation motherboard is faulty and then i came in < 5 minutes.. reconfigure the IP address, etc. Voila... work like a charm! |
