Whats wrong with Streamyx this timeeeee

Same with me, if I am lucky I can get 60.54 which is bearable, but I will get DC within minutes...and back to 124.xx again...

Sick with Streamyx....make us pay broadband fees for DIAL UP facilities....

Someone actually send an SMS to the STAR stating the slow connection at his/her place...

Maybe we all should just SMS to the STAR..and let TM read....buat them malu..with a full list of our SMSes about them

Thats the only IP addresses I can get after the change of the port. 90% of my IP Address unfortunately is 124.82 IP Address

Stuck with Ip address 124.82....sad to say no improvement at all

Tried to change IP address...for more than 1 hour....no use...still stuck with the above...

Streamyx what are you guys DOING....its more than 1 week already!!!

Mornings - 124.82....no matter how long hours I tried to reset my router....still 124.82....and the worst thing is 124.82....in KLANG...is the EXTREME WORST...of the WORST

anyone having the same problem as mine? Frequent disconnection from streamyx ie 20 times today and 7 times yesterday. Even reset the so called port didnt work....

Manage to get a report number on this problem.

My sis informed me that her friend from Botanical Garden having frequent disconnection too.

Any advice? T_T

That means I might as well cancel my report number since the technician unable to help me in this matter. Whatever troubleshooting done won't able to help me in settling the "disconnection" problem.

It's Streamyx problem since it's unable to supply enough bandwidth for its users especially during festive holidays.

I had problem with frequent disconnection and also lock off from the internet even though streamyx is connected. Had to make two reports within 2 weeks. first report was high frequent disconnection...and..The second report was the CS cant even check my port status...when i face my first lock off from the internet...

Finally the technician exchange my port with another.

Dynamic IPs remain the same as my old port...124.82, 60.54 and 123.13...but this port is slightly worst than my previous port...because now I even get disconnected in the mornings, afternoons and nights...my hang session is more frequent... * used it for 3 days *

The technician said this new port owner doesnt make any complaints..If I made another complaint, it meant that my house has problem...not the ports...

Btw, anyone in Klang suffer SLOWDOWN in download speed? It seems that even normal direct downloading ie mediafire,rapidshare, sendspace etc is BAD...ie below 20kbps...unlike before..dont talk about other downloads...T_T

Any advice?
