6k rebate + tint voucher rm500 ..is this a good deal? 1.5T-C(white orchid pearl)..

btw, want to ask is it true if we tint outside, it will void the power window warranty?
*
Do your tint outside will not void any warranty. Second car from honda never heard about this thing before. Maybe the SA want to get the tint commission. But when come to warranty claim is also depends on SC. Some SC dont appove your claim but other SC approve your claim.

Sxx Utaxx SA is really bullshit. Replace your parts without notice you, inform you after your car service is done. Happen before at my previous car, and the SA just told me they usually just replace the third brake light bulb directly without notice you once they notice its faulty. But during inspection before send for service they also didn inform you. rclxms.gif

Hi, I have gone through from V1 to here! And I guess nobody has yet mentioned anything about the anti-theft issue (correct me if I m wrong smile.gif
I just worry and maybe pessimistic a bit. Does anyone install any anti-theft system in your civic? Seeing that no matter how canggih it is I think they can just break it in anytime soon, maybe it is not necessary.
Mind to share some opinion?
*
I Only install pedal lock, maybe you can hide an unused smartphone in the car and recharge it frequent and use it as car tracker biggrin.gif chepo version

Just an update from Honda Malaysia, for those with black spots in their headlamp projector lens (1.8 and 1.5TC). After several weeks from taking my car to the dealer, taking photos of the 'defect' and numerous phone calls, they claim that they have checked with their factory and all projector lens are like that. It is normal and does not affect functionality i.e. we are not going to replace it. Doesn't really bother me but was curious to see how Honda Malaysia was going to handle it.
*
I'm having the same issue which having black spots on the projector lens. i got my headlamp replaced at Honda SC.

Notice my rear left door gap is wider than rear right door gap. Can sc fixed this? Or it is build to be like this?

How do we usually read the service indicator? I checked my service panel indicator, noticed that there is "A" appear on the screen. Is it normal?

The "A" appear over there is normal.

Installed stage one UR Bars, car stability is improved, able to take corner at 70km/h with less body roll and also easier to control while in the corner. I feel my previous City GM3 stock is more better than my current civic when taking corner at high speed. maybe i'm the aggressive type or GM3 rear suspension is using torsion beam.

Tested at MRR2 from Sri Petaling otw to TBS and Kesas HW to Seremban HW tunnel.

guys,

does this look good? and is it worth it at RM100?
*
Can try to check the price at taobao. Also do mind if its from China, the keyhole at door will be different as they are lefthand drive. But no issue to use it at our car.

Why dont you change for the high beams as well?

Low/ high beams is H11
Fog light is H8
Am i right?
*
Seldom use highbeam so just save the money for other mod, checked OSRAM NBP also not cheap for a pair.

Lowbeam using H11 while Highbeam using HB3

Fog Light H8 is correct.

Can someone point out for me which hdmi dongle is compatible for hdmi mirroring

Tried to digest which one is suitable.. but knowing there r soo many type n function, worry i might get a wrong one with unnecessary feature.. or worst it wont work at all..

So appreciate those who had done this pls advise something.

P/s: I read previous comment use Ezcast. But when i checked on lazada, there r soo many different type if it. Which one?
*
Attached Image

using this EZcast 5G currently. but sometimes will encounter abit of lag and takes some time to load up the interface for me to connect using wireless display. Overall display quality ok la since I only use it to cast my Waze, not youtube.

Do you need to keep your casting device on?

I.e if you shut your phone screen, will you HU screen goes black as well?

Can u still access to phone data/line after u connect to dongle wifi?

Sorry for all nubie questions, been reading a lot but find it kinda hard to digest at this age >_<
*
I always remain the dongle USB plugged in. Whenever i need to use just change the source to HDMI and let the dongle to boot up. I didn't try shut my phone screen before, but i think yes because it just mirror your phone screen to the HU. Switch on your phone Wifi and connect to the dongle LAN. Once connected, you can use your own data to surf or waze. i dont even use the ezcast app in my phone.

Try once with phone call, i have to use my phone screen to pick up the call then i turn on loudspeaker and listen directly through car audio system.
