I bought the 1.8, and to be honest I am worry unable to afford the 1.5t in long run. I did regret and jelly those 1.5t.

QUOTE(v88 @ Nov 25 2016, 09:00 AM) My view on whoever bought 1.8 is more practical and budget concern. It is wise choice considering no big difference except different engine but 1.8 is powerful enough. Actually not to bad for rm14k, you get:In fact i bought 1.5t when i see 1.8 on the road driving side by side with me, i feel they are more worthy with the price they've paid and they don't need to worry with the new issues popping out for 1.5 turbo engine and maintenance etcs. 1) lower roadtax 2) lower fuel consumption 3) faster speed 4) nice rims and leather seat IMO, is worth it. I bought the 1.8 because I heard a lot of overheating issue at Thai during my purchase. Even my SA which is a close friend told me it might affect MY. So, I choose 1.8 worry free. However, I been driving quite some time and I never heard any overheating issues in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(Sawamura @ Dec 30 2016, 05:00 PM) I was contemplating between 1.8 vs 1.5t, but in the end decided with 1.8 with leather wrap for seats, door trims and centre console Bro, where did you do the leather wrap and how much?Frankly I am very impressed with the Turbo Acceleration, but knowing I myself is not an aggresive driver, 1.8 will do me just fine Please add me to the non exhaustive list TS. |
