i must say that was a very good looking car. congratz bro...

the HU is used to manage and communicate with the car's electronic. Honda don't allow any external apps to be installed for safety reasons. just imagine if a rogue app is installed, the result might not be a happy ending. also, hacking is a possibility in future scenario too. my opinion is best to leave HU alone and dont tinker with it. bypass cable is ok since there's no adding/modifying/reverse engineering the core sys.

dont put ur life or ur love ones at risk. it's not worth it. just my two sen.
