Ecotint i don't know.
But, 3M is doing CNY promotion now.

FWS ( any Crystalline) Sides and RWS (EB40) RM1488. Crystalline is their best solar film, and EB40 is mid range film (not in their website yet), but in their official FB page. This promotion like only available in KL. Myself from JB, the 3M dealers here not offering it.
Somehow, one 3M dealer in my place wanna do it, but for RM1600, however, they added 1 layers of clear Axel 4mil security tint on my sides as free gift. The shop that i went to, the original price for this package is RM3000. Before I knew about this CNY promotion, they were offering me RM2100. Then, after bargain hard using the CNY poster, i got RM1600.

Where to get? introduce me.
The best discount i can find is just 4.5k for 1.8cc 2017 car.

I think the discount for 1.8 is lesser than TC

Mine was 2.2k but by my friend. Ori with e warranty. Leave out the dot area behind rear view mirror for smart tag.
All crystalline 50 + another security tint at the sides. It doesn't looks dark from outside so less trouble from officers

how's the heat rejection after leaving that area out ?

Planning to get the Trapo carpet.

Is it necessary to remove the original carpet before setting the Trapo in ? Or you can just lay on top ? According to the CS of Trapo, it might not stick well with our carpet. Any review from the members members here ?

Or is it better to go for the traditional maggi mee type ?

The trapo is really nice, very light weight and easy to clean. I didnt take off the original mat even though trapo sent me a plastic cover which supposedly is used to keep the ori mat. No issue with sticking on the original mat.
