Just visit an SA.

The SA offered 3M crystalline for RM2.1k, he said original price is RM2.9k. He able to offer RM2.1k before get car, after get the car will not be able to get such low price.

It looks tempting, but not sure is that any chance this guy will give fake 3M?

Anyway, he assured that it is original and will receive password via email, then can go to 3M website to confirm.

i dont think there is much discount in jan 17~ coz demand should be quite high, all waiting 2017 car.
anywhere.. Dec16 & Jan17 not much different la... but no comment if you gonna sell ur car within 7 years den maybe ur 2nd hand value maybe higher.
however.. more important is ur car condition instead of manufacture year..
i get 5.3k in JB~ 100k 2.55% 7 yrs HLB
*
5.3k rebate? When you place your order?

2.55% is very good rate.

Why don't you ask them to make some space at rear mirror there? The dots area there
*
Civic 1.5TCP got dot area behind the rear view mirror? I saw 1.8 version at showroom yesterday, don't have the dot area.

My friend Mazda 3 did exactly like what you say. Good workmanship and not really notice the trim.

Just called a tint shop, the shops suggest to cut a small space at top right corner of windscreen. I find it kinda hard to accept.

1. Navigation is not really necessary unless you travel a lot and you dont want to use waze. LED lighs is seductive but the extra 8k, i dont think worth the money. Save 8k get TC spec instead and change to HID lightbulb
2. Got my offer last week in Kah Motor Penang with 6k rebate
3. Civic just launched in Malaysia 2016, so there wont be other model or facelift until next 2 to 3 years
4. You dont need sunroof in Malaysia. Even you do, you have to prepare for the "nightmare" if you are unlucky

Just book mine MSM 1.5TC.

Is change halogen to HID legal in Malaysia?

Illegal usage of HID in Malaysia

Retrofit HID bulb is not illegal if your car is using projector type headlamp. If it is reflector, then it is illegal
As long as it produce glare to a certain level then it is illegal.

Holy shxx. Can be fined up to 2k for HID.

Any legal way to make the colour look white or brighter at night?

Got my Lunar Silver TC last week. TS please add me to proud owner list~~ biggrin.gif

Been driving it for a week shifting from Persona 1.6 manual. A few findings compare to my persona and my bro's altis & vios.

1. Turning radius for both Persona & Civic are same 6m. However I find easier to make U-turn for civic. Faster response, maybe every degree turn on civic steering give more turning at wheel. In S shaped road, the sudden change direction can be handled in real quick. Compare to my bro's altis and vios, no doubt civic is much better.

2. Rattling sound at right side in uneven road. Found it is because of the plastic cover underneath right side of steering (there are cables at inside) is poorly supported. When I put my hand to hold the plastic cover, the noise is gone. The noise can be reproduce easily by flicking the plastic cover. Thumb down for Honda doh.gif

3. Suspension is great compare to altis.

4. The door lock response is slow. When i put my hand in the door handle, if i pull it quick, unable to open the door because the lock not release yet. Need to release the handle and pull again, kinda frustrating. I gonna talk to SC in my 1,000km service.

5. Handling is much better the Altis.

Have not tested on highway or hill road yet. SA adviced not to ramp hard before 1,000km.

Gonna to test it when my CNY trip back from Johor from Penang. Planning start from Kedah to Kelantan, there are 100km++ mountainous road at Titiwangsa. Then move south via East Coast highway to Kuantan, then further down to Johor. Total distance around 800km. My Persona can do it with 12 hours. Maybe 11hours with civic?? hmm.gif

QUOTE(GeekinE90 @ Dec 23 2016, 09:41 AM)
Honda engineers took a bold step in the 2016 Civic to give it a nice tight steering lock to lock turn ratio.  The Civic has a variable ratio EPS, and a sporty 2.2 turns lock-to-lock steering.  The previous 9th Gen Civic had a more typical 3.1 turns lock to lock ratio, and most family sedans are around 3+ turns lock to lock.  For a benchmark, the 997 Porsche GT3 RS has a 2.6 turn lock to lock steering, and the E92 M3 has a 2.4 turn lock to lock steering.  Tighter lock to lock ratio make the car more responsive and quick while a longer lock to lock is a more comfortable lazy drive during long distance high speed cruises.

"Dual-Pinion, Variable Ratio Electric Power-Assisted Rack-and-Pinion Steering (EPS)
Another Civic first, the Electric Power Steering (EPS) incorporates dual pinion gears and a variable gear ratio for improved steering feel, performance and comfort that surpasses the class.

The dual pinion steering provides substantially improved feel compared to the previous-generation Civic. Compared to a traditional single-pinion steering system, the dual pinion EPS utilizes the physical steering input from the driver as well as from a supplemental electric motor. A non-contact torque sensor measures the driver's steering effort and an ECU determines how much electric motor assist to add, with the result being a seamless, natural feeling steering in all situations.

The steering ratio is variable over a 17-percent range with a final full off-center rotation ratio of 10.93:1. This provides a quick 2.2 turns lock-to-lock compared to 3.1 turns lock-to-lock for the previous Civic, significantly reducing hand movement and the steering effort required when parking or maneuvering. Also contributing to the enhanced steering performance and feel of the 2016 Civic Coupe, the steering mount stiffness is higher, and the 30mm steering column diameter (up from 22mm on the previous generation Civic) also provides greater stiffness."

I was quite disappointed when i first look at the 6m turning radius when i look at the spec on brochure because it is the same with my persona, which i dislike it so much.
But when i put my hand on Civic steering, i am quite impressed and pleased

Comrades. i notice a funny thing on the fuel gauge and mileage count. It happened yesterday.

Afternoon i got the low fuel warning and i continued to drive until left 42km... I went to petrol station and pump RM10, the low fuel warning still there and mileage didn't increased. I was expecting the low fuel warning will goes away and i get a new mileage countdown. Fuel gauge maintained at same low position.

In the evening when I drove back from office, the mileage continue drop to 32km with low fuel warning, the stop at petrol station and pump RM10 again. The funny thing is the low fuel warning and mileage count still the same despite i pump total RM20? Fuel gauge maintained at same low position. doh.gif doh.gif

Then i continue drive again, the mileage continue drop until 28km, then I go pump RM10 again. After pumped, the fuel gauges suddenly went to half tank and mileage increased to 270km confused.gif confused.gif

This is so weird
