Nah... For Honda installed Cobra Connex (aptly named Honda Connex), it's specially priced at RM360/year - including the insurance. Can see the PDF link above for the source.

If Connex cannot find the car within 72hours, it's RM10K cash + RM15K subsidy on new Honda car. This is on top of your normal car insurance.

I got a Cobra for Mazda 3 and transfer to my civic. I was also thought the package is this (M3) until the technician forward me "new price structure"

The highest is M6, which enjoyed insurance. Updated 15th May 2016

Yeah... For Honda, Cobra has a special package for them.

Mazda normal package PDF Price List
Honda special package PDF Price List
Mercedes Super Expensive Package PDF Price List

Basically Honda users are getting the benefits of M6, at the price of M3. Pity Mercedes users though...

What if someone tempered the system after car is stealed and they cannot detect it anymore? Will they refuse to cover?

Because of the wheels and tyres, it gives u an illusion that 1.5 looks a bit lower..
*
Honda should give options at least to 1.8 for them to upgrade their wheels to 17 inch. The current 16 inch really spoil the civic sporty look as the rubber is too fat.
In fact 1.5 should come with 18 inch like mazda n 17 inch for 1.8.

hahaha this really sounds good bro if they had the option for upgrading. but if really provided few option to update this and that...
example, the ori leather seat.. the rim... the door leather panel and armrest leather... the paddle shifter for 1.8...

then maybe eventually the price will approaching what 1.5tc is offering right now...
since 1.8 and 1.5tc got different target in their marketing strategy, i think maybe that's not what honda wanted?
they want them to think "if i want that i must choose 1.5" maybe? laugh.gif

but indeed, the 1.8s for fc is really high specced compared to previous fb and fd... thumbsup.gif

Well.. I thought the price is all the same regardless any colour.. Somemore he said only WOP add-on rm400.. Other colour no need to add cash..
*
If you checked the Honda official website, the WOP only require you to pay extra RM300 only. Please confirmed with your SA again (Not RM400). Perhap it is not a ordinary white and it is white pearl, so they charge more RM300, which is make sense to me.

i think Honda classify 1.8s for economic car.. if everything could upgrade, den most of the buyer just give up the turbo engine and choose 1.8 + rim + paddle shift + leather seats.. which save fuel.. less problem as well.. 1.5 tc sales definitely drop lol..
then whats the meaning of China Honda which got 6 variants let you choose, all different spec~ rclxms.gif

Covered - if the car is trackable at least once during the event. If the thieves used a GPS / GSM jammer from the start until the car is shipped, it won't be covered. It's just an extra security precaution. It's not meant to be the 100% guaranteed won't get stolen security measure - the insurance is also meant to be an extra add on to your current insurance.

Some people like me just wanna the look but not the performance tongue.gif
And now becoz of that you are probably in a way forced to buy1.5 instead. Maybe that's what exactly Honda wants sad.gif

Does that mean that no matter they will also compensate? as long as the car is stolen n they are not able to track the location.

Not covered: Car stolen, cannot be tracked at all from the beginning. Or if you are not contactable at all when they call you up to confirm, and the car could not be tracked anymore when they get the confirmation.
Covered: Car stolen, can be tracked initially, but suddenly cannot track anymore

Go read the #3 post on first page to understand more, read Page 5 on this PDF, or go to their website to learn more.

In any case, your car insurance should cover if it's stolen.

Hopefully it will not attract jpj attention lol. Based on observations, jpj usually do the roadblocks during 1st half of the year. Very less at the end of the year

if u stay in peace kampung maybe its not necessary.....
if u stay in KL JB may be its necessary....
if your car being targeted... your car gone too..
anywhere~ install or not install, your car might lost and could recover by insurance company but not 100% only~

so conclusion is not necessary.. LOL

ask you a question....
buy 100K car, do you willing to spend extra RM300 for basic security installation?
