So recently I found out that turning off econ mode actually reduces the issue where the car will jerk slightly when accelerating slowly from stop during traffic jam (it usually happens at speed around 5km/h).

So far havent face the jerk motion when i turn off econ mode.

Another question which i want to confirm: It should be ok to switch from D <> S when driving right? Since it should be just electronically changing the way the CVT chooses the gear ratio.

While moving you can safely change:
D <-> S, D -> N <- R

You need to be at a complete stop before changing:
D <- N -> R <-> P

Saw a test on Mythbusters though - a speeding car changing automatic gears from D to R and D to P. The car protects itself by shutting off completely. Don't dare to experiment it on my own car though biggrin.gif

S is like Sports Mode. It revs higher, shifts are optimised for "racing", keeps transmission in lower gear longer for better performance and if you use the paddle shifts, it will hold your selected gear longer than in D.

I changed from D to P before, the engine shuts down itself. But this is on a proton saga.

I once did P to R when the engine wasn't fully start up yet cause i was in a hurry. The engine failed to start, Had to put back to P before starting it.

Well... It's more like a best practise, and it affects our car's torque converter (more wear). It's not really destroying the transmission itself.

Guys, just got my car this afternoon. I had go for LLumar Diamond 6 tint. Initially i tot that all windows, rear and front windscreen should be sticked with diamond 6 tint. But the workshop ppl told me that diamond 6 package is only cover on 4 windows and front and rear windscreen only cover with LLumar Gold.

Is it true? Need your advice, please.

Notice my rear left door gap is wider than rear right door gap. Can sc fixed this? Or it is build to be like this?

How do we usually read the service indicator? I checked my service panel indicator, noticed that there is "A" appear on the screen. Is it normal?

Yes. Security tinting only for 4 side windows. Front and back windscreen are normal film tinting. Mine Crystal 6 comes with LLumar Silver on Front and back windscreen. Top up a little to LLumarGold for front instead.
