so did you get it covered?

and does it easily get melted after a while since the surface of the headlight can get very hot

Nope, bare naked headlamp that's why got scratches after the highway road sign incident. Just don't care any more, luckily our TCP headlamp inner mesh design doesn't make it look obvious.

What about the other TCP owners? What is the average lifespan of your engine oil?
Don't have average figure yet, but for my first 10k service i got it at 10k for engine oil life(assuming that i really drive 10k, total car mileage left to service = to the service minder A remainder) so it is the same mileage as service interval. PJ - KL daily weekdays trip and 20% highway.

I drive at D all the time, and always like to drive at the optimal side (the green indicator). I would say I drive sensibly on the road.

I stuffed pillows in the trunk to absorb the noise.  It's much better.  For those experiencing really loud road noise try the following:

1) Check tyre pressures
2) Remove Honda cargo boot tray if you have one
3) Leave the rear armrest folded up
4) Stuff a few pillows in the trunk and gauge the difference.
