Get the turbo. You might feel a tang of regret a couple of years down the line with the 1.8.

After getting the Civic turbo, I don't think I can drive any NA car under 2.5 cc anymore.

Except 2.5 Mazda 6
Others dont even want to think.

Hi all,

Just got my ride - 1.5 TCP white.

Thinking to do coating or not, been surveying around and what interests me is the Sierra Glow - Blue Frame Treatment.

Anyone tried that? Or other brand which is highly recommended?

Thanks!!
*

Just visit an SA.

The SA offered 3M crystalline for RM2.1k, he said original price is RM2.9k. He able to offer RM2.1k before get car, after get the car will not be able to get such low price.

It looks tempting, but not sure is that any chance this guy will give fake 3M?

Anyway, he assured that it is original and will receive password via email, then can go to 3M website to confirm.

Must ask which shop name.

Got my Lunar Silver TC last week. TS please add me to proud owner list~~ biggrin.gif

Been driving it for a week shifting from Persona 1.6 manual. A few findings compare to my persona and my bro's altis & vios.

1. Turning radius for both Persona & Civic are same 6m. However I find easier to make U-turn for civic. Faster response, maybe every degree turn on civic steering give more turning at wheel. In S shaped road, the sudden change direction can be handled in real quick. Compare to my bro's altis and vios, no doubt civic is much better.

2. Rattling sound at right side in uneven road. Found it is because of the plastic cover underneath right side of steering (there are cables at inside) is poorly supported. When I put my hand to hold the plastic cover, the noise is gone. The noise can be reproduce easily by flicking the plastic cover. Thumb down for Honda  doh.gif

3. Suspension is great compare to altis.

4. The door lock response is slow. When i put my hand in the door handle, if i pull it quick, unable to open the door because the lock not release yet. Need to release the handle and pull again, kinda frustrating. I gonna talk to SC in my 1,000km service.

5. Handling is much better the Altis.
Have not tested on highway or hill road yet. SA adviced not to ramp hard before 1,000km.

Gonna to test it when my CNY trip back from Johor from Penang. Planning start from Kedah to Kelantan, there are 100km++ mountainous road at Titiwangsa. Then move south via East Coast highway to Kuantan, then further down to Johor. Total distance around 800km. My Persona can do it with 12 hours. Maybe 11hours with civic??  hmm.gif
*
You will not be disappointed with the power rclxm9.gif

I've drive several times uphill journey. No sweat. If you want more fun during uphill just S mode biggrin.gif
Try not to > 3k rpm when < 1000km

Agreed.

I've noted that the "daun" Econ mode does make the car a little sluggish, but its fine for city driving or when you're ok with progressive acceleration. I guess it does save you some petrol although I don't know if this is mere placebo - haven't really gathered any real life figures. Anyone here done the experiment or knows how much Econ saves you?
This one I can confirm. I usually have two phones and the key in the same pocket. Normally, it doesn't affect the signal from the key much but it gets really slow when the key is sandwiched between both phones or completely behind both phones - if that makes sense. Fumbling around in my pocket usually solves the problem though so I'm not too bothered.
*
I always on eco mode. But sometimes normal mode will be more efficient because it takes lesser time to cruise speed. Eco mode take longer, maybe will consume more fuel from that.

Protip: always inflate tire with correct pressure.

Anyway, for people with steel balls, I recommend you guys take the Race Chip Ultimate. Or Pro2 if pocket doesn't allows.
Gain more power, but FC decreased too.
