Actually NCB is tied to the individual and not the car or any particular insurance company. So you can buy Etiqa this year and Kurnia the next, you still get the same discount as they share the same database.
*
I know. What i mean is if you are buying it from Honda itself, Honda SA definitely will help to transfer the NCB from old car registered under the same individual. But if you are buying insurance other than HIP, the Honda SA usually does not help to transfer the NCB, which mean you have to do it urself.

I think when ppl asking this, they should be understand the NCB is tagged alone with the registered owner. Thus, i do not clarified about it.

If,

U fit unauthorised 'parts', its already 'reason' to void warranty.. whether they void it or not boils down to Customer Service..
There is a reason why the SA's threaten us wif unauthorised 'tints'..
But enough to say, you can try fitting an unauthorised tint .. bottom line is you will be the one facing everything..
Well i've had quite a bit of experience with warranty claims connected to 3rd party installed parts over the years with Toyota, Kia and now BMW. Hence my earlier statement. The only 'case' which I lost was with BMW when I installed a 3rd party reverse cam which was connected to the car's IDrive system. It didn't actually cause any functional problems since it was plug & play but since it caused a system update to fail, they insisted I remove it and install a original BMW cam.

I dunno abt Kia.. but l tink Honda SC is more particular [read fussy] about warranty claims than de other 2..
A tip I tink is worth hinting here is - keep a good relationship wif your SA, cos they can solve a lot of 'problems' - if u can catch my drift..

Probably true but they[SC] will void warranty if they find its not an authorised accessory.. o yes, u can argue about 'proof'  in court but how many wanna go tat far..

Rims is a totally different thing altogether. Rims are designed based on the specific vehicle's suspension, brake and loading. Its a key structural item which has a direct impact on the performance and stability of the car. That's why we shouldn't simply change / upgrade our rims. Its not there just to make your tyres look good.

I didn't mean a court case to prove anything. Proof in this case is a logical explanation as to how that 3rd party accessory caused the problem. No car manufacturer is going to simply void warranty just to shift blame without reason.
*
Ya, I think it is quite subjective in this case. But I agreed with dirtrun that bottom line customers like us who are the one to take the impact no matter which situation we choose.

Since I don't have any particular choices for tinting, I will choose Honda package in this case to avoid any toublesome in future. Anyways thanks cybermaster98 and dirtrun for the feedback.

Honda could be more fussy. No experience yet with them.

But SA useless. Wife doesn't even service her Civic at that dealer.

Oh, now I get what you meant, it takes around 1 week for the refund - directly banked into my account in my case.

The Civic X clearcoat seems very soft. Be careful with polishing compounds or it will cause burn marks or unwanted swirls. I'd go with an easy to use clay bar kit instead. You can try Meguiars Quik Clay Kit instead of using polishing compounds. Then coat it with wax or sealants after claying.

The replica Modulo rear spoiler is much cheaper outside vs. the original Honda part. There are 3 types, ABS, PU, and PP types for the replica spoiler. The original Modulo kit is made from PP material and is not wavy when you look at it from angles. ABS is more wavy compared to PU and PP from my observation. Also paint quality is typically better when painted at the Honda body shop for the ori Modulo kit, vs. the accessory shops who do not usually give premium paint jobs on their replica kits sold. However, most folks wont notice the differences from a glance.

Added the modulo kit for the wife's car but went with the USDM rear spoiler instead.

In the glovebox. And when at toll gate, take out and hold it near to windscreen (must hold it at center below the back mirror), if not, some toll gate will not detect.
