I'm trying to get the whole picture here ..

Odometer at 7-8k .. you did Service A (ie oil-life service) and SC reset Maintenance Minder to B.

Odometer at 10k .. you did Mileage Service but SC did Service A again even though oil life has 6k plus left and then SC reset Minder back to A.

It could be that they expect you to come back at about 17k and again at 20k.
At 17k, they will do Service A.
At 20k, they will do Mileage Service & Service B!

If like this .. I think this SC trying to do more business la!
You cannot skip Service B (ie. change oil & filter)

I would not follow this kind of service schedules.

Stop banging your head .. haha

Ok .. assuming what I pictured above is the actual situation, you may want to consider the following:

When your oil life ends maybe at around 17-18k, go do Service B (ie. change oil & filter).
Photostat the service invoices you did at 7-8k and 10k. Show & explain to SC bcos your Maintenance Minder is now at A. Minder should remain at A after this Service B (important).
As for the 20k Mileage Service .. you have the option to do together or come back at 20k.
If come back at 20k, make sure only do 20k Mileage Service (ie. not Service A or B again).

isr25 did ask to see your 10k service invoice. Can show ar? smile.gif

Sorry i don know how to rotate. Just now i went back SC for clarify. After argue with them, they end up reset my engine oil from A to B again to satisfy me. i pissed off with it thn i just walk off..vmad.gif vmad.gif

And the Service advisory said our meter shouldn't show A or B after services. A or B show when is something wrong with our engine oil.

Yes correct... No need to be 100% clean off... Just clean about 90+% of the windscreen can d...

The rainbow effect could be your tint... It's clean when you feel the surface is smooth and no more waterbeading...

This invoice is at 7k service. Why change filter? Also, I see the 10k Mileage Service already done here?

Also, you said you did service at 10k. We wanted to see this 10k service invoice.

Or did I got the wrong picture?

Errrr... no. It should always show either A or B. You should follow the oil life remaining to know when you should change your oil. Look at the FAQ on the first page. Even brand new cars with 10K km oil life left will show A.

Judging by your picture, they did the B oil service as you are also changing the oil filter

I was very confused about the servicing of our cars. But after reading these threads, seems like the SCs are just as confused if not more. blink.gif

They didnt change the mileage 7k to 10k. I told the person change, the person said is ok to remain that.

anyway i also confuse the services after this services.

Didn't even get as far as the charges. Was confused initially about the A/B service, and then the mileage service intervals. Only recently found out that we have to do both instead of whichever comes first. I've heard people who manage to sync the A/B service intervals with their mileage ones and get both done together thus saving them the extra trip.

But it also does seem that the SCs are genuinely confused about the service schedule for our cars. Is this the first Honda to run on a schedule like this? Pardon the noobness - first Honda. smile.gif

oic .. this invoice is the service at 10k.

So, I think the situation is this ..

Odometer at 7k .. you did Service A (ie. changed oil) only and SC reset Maintenance Minder to B.

Odometer at 10k .. you wanted only Mileage Service but SC did Service B (ie. changed oil & filter) also even though oil life has 6k plus left and then SC reset Minder back to A.

Today .. SC reset Minder to B.

You have 2 options:

1. Reset Minder to A now
I think you can reset to A yourself in the HU. Anyone here thinks otherwise?
If choose this option, do the reset today because anymore delay will result in wrong oil-life calculations.
With this, your next service will be Service A (ie. change oil only).

2. Leave Minder at B
With this, your next service will be Service B (ie. change oil & filter).

Decision is yours to make ..

6k rebate + tint voucher rm500 ..is this a good deal? 1.5T-C(white orchid pearl)..

btw, want to ask is it true if we tint outside, it will void the power window warranty?
*
Do your tint outside will not void any warranty. Second car from honda never heard about this thing before. Maybe the SA want to get the tint commission. But when come to warranty claim is also depends on SC. Some SC dont appove your claim but other SC approve your claim.

Sxx Utaxx SA is really bullshit. Replace your parts without notice you, inform you after your car service is done. Happen before at my previous car, and the SA just told me they usually just replace the third brake light bulb directly without notice you once they notice its faulty. But during inspection before send for service they also didn inform you. rclxms.gif

Agree on this. Most likely the SA want to earn the commission by telling you that tint outside will void warranty. However, their so called tint panel actually is that particular dealer's "panel" only, not honda's panel. If really tint by honda, will be included in your purchase price, and the car is tinted when delivered by Honda if not mistaken.
