speaking of my experience, been using 3 screen protectors for the past 4 months, starting with nilkin tempered glass, it was good, but when my rhinoshield appear, upon lift, cracked everywhere, and rhinoshield is seriously overpriced, got scratched, not even like a month or so, and requires great application skills, so mine was screwed up, so i toss it away, living it with naked, and realized the screen caught some minor hairline scratch, no choice, so i went for x-one, so far so good, hopefully its last.

Rhino is good protectors but the quality is very hard. Can easily harm SP or set. SGP still the best options.

Plastic screen protectors are always prone to scratches regardless of brand nod.gif

Wow... hairline scratches.. i was using my S7 Edge naked all the time for 10 months, no scratch at all. Once wiped completely clean and looks brand new. I'm using tempered glass protector on my new iPhone.

Benks none 3D not full screen one is not bad. Remember Er it's not the fulls screen type, it's the type that only covers the screen, not edge to edge.

Actually is there any different if its not MY/A?
Does it affect warranty at Apple Malaysia? Cause my gf's sis iP7+ it start with MN..
*
ALOT of Difference bro. For Non-Local set, Apple M'sia will not honour any warranty. Usually, these non-local set are brought in by suppliers which are imported unlock sets so can use with any mobile system listed in their GSM specifications. Price wise, they are generally cheaper compared to the local sets mainly due to the exchange rate and/or sometimes these devices were bought during offers etc.

In lazada, 11Street etc, do check carefully what warranty is being offered. Most often those below retail price are import sets with Supplier Warranty. This means, any issues with the unit, its back to the supplier. If you send it to Apple Malaysia, repairs won't be free, that and if they do accept your unit.

Having super slow apps download/update using Unifi again. Only difference this time is OperaVPN doesn't help anymore. Anyone got any solutions? Speedtest shows everything is running at maximum speed and minimal latency.

I'm not sure about that. I have a HK set 7. Tried call machines mid valley and confirm claimable if any issues la. Then I think Asian set shouldn't be any problem. But western set I'm not sure bro..
*
Went to machines service center yesterday and was told by the service girl that certain iPhones from China, US and New Zealand is not claimable here due to parts serial number differences. Not sure how accurate is that.

Bro, so far Malaysia authorized dealer won't repair the set, only software check, else just replace due to the warranty given.

If Lazada I will buy sold by lazada, not buy from other seller..
Only 11street will be buying from seller company name Juara ICT Sdn Bhd.. Reason got installment 0%, thats the main point I'm buying from Lazada & 11Street..

How long does it takes to fully charge your iphone 7 ?

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Feb 11 2017, 08:30 AM)
When choosing chargers for your electronic device this is the pointers:-
1. Voltage must be the same as the device requirement. e.g. iphone 5V

2. Current, more mean better for charger. As for device, the device will only take what it requires. e.g. charger 5V, 1A. Device 5V, 2.4A. So invest with a charger that is capable of producing more than 2.4A so as the device can fully utilize its charging rate. So less time charging.

3. High current charger also useless if the cable used is not capable of delivering the current. So invest in proper cables too. Those certified braided high current cables although expensive but IMHO worth it and you only need to buy 1 or 2 depending on your needs. They will last for many years.

4. Do invest in a certified charger/cables that have overload/temperature cutoff etc that will protect and feed proper/clean power to your devices.

Thanks for the advice.
Currently i'm using aukey braided and energea nylotough cable with aukey charger
What i'm worrying is it takes only 1 hour to charge from 20% until 80% then from 80% until 100% it takes 1 hour . That's mean 2 hours only to fully charge my phone.. is it normal ? Because when i use ori apple charger n cable it takes about 3 hours to fully charge

about 1h30mins from ~5%% to 100%... i use usb detector, my iPhone 7 draw around 1.5A@5V from aukey charger, quite similar with using my iPad charger... if you are using iPhone 5W charger, it should takes 2hours15mins++

there are formula calculating how long it takes to charge devices base on how big the battery mAh, but in real world, it will have energy loss during charging, some overhead or heat...

The imei number should be printed on the box. IIRC there is a section on the apple website support where we can check the detils of the phone from its imei number. Should be under the support section of apple.com

Its usually less than 2 hours, and its definitely faster than using the 5W apple charger and cable.

You also need to understand that 0% - 80% capacity, the device will be charging at full speed. When the capacity reaches 80% the charge rate will be trottled down and finally at 95% it will go down further to trickle charging. This is done to safeguard the battery in the long run.

Anyway, I have been using an ipad charger to charge my ip4, 5s, 6, 6+ and 7 with no ill effects . and apart from the ip7, the rest are all >more than 2 years old. So long as the power feed is stable and clean, it should be good for the device. I also have one of those Pineng 11200mah power banks. But when ever I use the ipad charger to charge it, it still needs a solid 10-11hours for full charge. This means that the device circuitry can only receive max 1amp max current. Power bank nowadays expecially those with Qualcomm 3.0 can take much higher charge rates thus minimising charging time tremendously.
