If you feeling like holding a hot cup of coffee, then your phone probably something very wrong. This kind of hot is like what I described hot in Sony Xperia Z and ZL. Just before I update my sister iPad Air 2 and also iPhone 6 Plus to 10.2.1 and keep failing after near finish. I am using hotspot from Hotlink.
Later I switch to Maxis line hotspot and immediate success.
I believe Hotlink line is the culprit!
