Hi,

You will be charged Pay-Per-Use if you make/receive call & send SMS if you are in Vietnam & other countries except South East Asia.
MaxisONE World will be auto activated if you reach the tier for flat rate. Refer http://www.maxis.com.my/content/maxis/en/p...g/oneworld.html.

TQ

Hi westlife,

For our MaxisONE plan users, we offers MaxisONE World when they travels to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Cambodia and Laos for these benefits - save more, more data and worry free. If you have utilised your 500MB in MaxisONE World pass, you are able to utilise your local data as well with no charges incurred. However, it will expires at 1159pm capital time when you are in one of the selected countries. As for the pay per use, it will only applicable for those countries that not the list for MaxisONE World.

Thank you

So even if I turn off mobile data & data roaming, I will still be charged RM38 if I receive call/SMS when I'm outside of Malaysia?

u will be charged. received sms will not trigger rm38 data roaming plan, but receive a call it will, even it is just 1s call received.

u need to call maxis to opt out from the maxis one world so that u will be charged on pay per use basis instead.

Wow! So dangerous and horrifying. Just imagine if I answer only 1 call on first day yet RM38 will be charged everyday until I'm back to Malaysia.
