Does CIMB Debit Card works on steam?

I remember last time got many people got problem using CIMB debit and Maybank Debit on steam. I was using Bank Islam at the time and didnt have any problem. Now I just changed to CIMB and have yet to try doing any transaction. Is it working now? Or still kena blocked?

you need to opt in for online transaction after the new policy for CIMB if im not wrong

Maybank now block all online game purchase.

I'm on Maybank and when I activated online purchases for my debit card part of the t and c stated that I'm not allowed to use it for online gaming purchases.
Same thing for cimb if I'm not mistaken, in fact cimb implemented the ban even earlier. |
