Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I have recently lodged complaints of the terrible 4G signals in Johor Bahru areas. doh.gif
Examples of the area affected are :
1) Permas Jaya area. (issue noted in August 2016 and still unresolved now!!!) bangwall.gif bangwall.gif
2) Taman Sentosa
3) Danga Bay
4) Aeon Mall Tebrau City - New Wing
5) Jalan Skudai
6) Horizon Hill
7) Bukit Indah - The Spice Kitchen (Only 3G signal available)

Few Maxis dealers shared that Maxis does not upgrade the cell towers until they are down or 100% full capacity.
With the recent upgrade data for MOP customers, Maxis is unable to cope with high volume of complaints of their network issues.
You will still need to pay high monthly commitment despite the sub-par quality provided by Maxis.
Maxis is still using old school 2G/3G technology for call when Digi and Yes have already launched 4G or VOLTE calls. mad.gif

I am not sure other areas are affected and please share and lodge complaints. icon_question.gif

They wait until disaster happen then may act.
Permas Jaya no signal for 2 weeks already

Current every telco upgrade plan is better than what Maxsi offer.
Let said, celcom rm98 for 40gb and the 4G tower upgrade...
It just the matter of time for others to surpass them, if they still dnt take it seriously.

maybe you are right,but look back the capex they spend on each quarter.they still to spend more money...

that why most of us ported out. I was with maxis for 15 years paying for RM80 for no unlimited calls, data +RM30 for 1GB

after ported RM70 - unlimited calls inclusive of data 15GB and 7GB video

They more value on shared and profits.
People are tired with the upgrade, instead prefer to lowering the monthly payment.
They should have also focus on their low tier plan instead of high tier plan.
As nowadays, light users also take part in contribute the profit to them.
Look at Celcom also start joining the low tier plan war - the recent enhanced first blue plan.

Maxis is charging us for non performance network issues? In fact, we are expecting its network team to be proactive to tackle your network issues since we as customers are paying for such services! Instead, we are now working "part-time" for Maxis to report your network faults. We can't even have a decent calls and internet connections at the locations we complained.

Port out lo, what can we do for this?
I also ported to Celcom, since the day they add on the data.

Whenever they increase the data quota, they never fail to increase our misery.
It is a disaster. Continue to pay high monthly bill when sub-standard services.

Hi pokemon,

You encountered weak 4G reception or slow 4G speed?

I encountered 4G speed of 5Mbps and 7Mbps in USJ area.

When I was at Maxis outlet Sunway Pyramid, the 4G speed was 117Mbps.

Their 4G speed is not standard.

not really i ported 15 numbers under business line. I ported out from maxis because of bad line always middle call no sound. Need to recall to connect. Another is always ppl cant get me

Everytime offer free phones but actually calculated in so not really free as of 2months ago i was using 80 with no unlimited call and no data . Need add RM30 for 1GB
