fredlenzo, I use optical sound, so I just use a normal composite switcher and hook up only the 3 video RCAs. Currently connected a PS2, Xbox and X360 with no problems. Though I am using an S-Video switcher I bought in Penang last time for 50bux (Looks like a small fat PS2). Not using S-Video anymore.

IINM, composite & component cable construction is exactly the same. if u use 2 chap ayam composite switcher together (red-green-blue input into red-yellow-white) it should be able to carry 480i/p signal. (i'm not sure if the cap ayam switcher can carry 720p/1080i signals or not) http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-2q-77-...ent-70-3cb.html^ a few here have bought this from p-a b4, i think its works for 480i/p/720p/1080i/p signals. anyone can confirm? i think used a composite switcher [3 RCA - video(yellow), left(white), right(reD)] to do component switching [3 RCA - Y(green), Cr(blue), Cb(red) ], audio is not an issue coz he used optical (direct to av receiver?).

Since all the "switcher" are the same though.. terms of quality I can't comment it~.

how's the quality? trial and error; it out first... use the knock-off switcher but dont use knock-off cables. if u don't want to buy component cables, buy thicker composite cables... coz component cables are usually overpriced..
