According to Serebii there's no wild Pokemon battle at all. Just throw the Pokeball like Pokemon Go

I may have a reason to buy a Switch after all.

Yeah looking at the trailer, it seems that wild pokemon doesn't require battles at all.
The level system is still there and battles are only against trainers.
Pokepark feature and etc..

Nothing about Gyms, or if it has any story in the game yet. Need more details.

The Pokemon Go thing seems ok if you want to transfer Switch Pokemon to Go if you play that... but I think you might as well not play the Switch version much, if you want to transfer all your Pokemon Go Pokemon to the Switch version.

Super downside 30 minute to refill 1 energy max 5energy

Pokemon movement is not controlable
You could only use skill and avoid with cooldown

So in Let's Go no Pokemon battles to catch Pokemon confirmed. The only thing I think will feel a bit weird as most have gotten used to battling before capturing.
No online service for this Pokemon title as well, unlike the normal one's.

Focus is more about home console experience rather than handheld experience which will be in the 2019 game.

I wonder how Pokemon is going to level up. By just battling trainers or some sort of training. I hope it's not by transferring and walking with Pokemon Go

According to Nintendo Everything there will be online trading and battling in let's go but you will need the online subscription. The online feature will also be a lot simpler than previous core series.

Hmmm Mew is exclusive to Pokeball Plus. It's like literally buying a Pokemon instead of catching it. Perhaps Nintendo is really Team Rocket in disguise, not a good precedent.

Yes I know there are exclusive Pokemon locked behind purchases before this, but this feels somehow more blatant than ever.

Getting Pokeball Plus anyway, so i'm good.

Happy that there is a bundle for the game and the Pokeball. Just hope stock isn't that limited knowing Nintendo..
