One thing I really don't like about the game is you can't gmax bred Pokemon. I found a gmax centiskorch now I am going have to replace my long boy with it

I’ve spent like 10 hours before the first gym too.
Trying to get a semblance of a 6 Pokémon team before moving on.

Resetting for nature is very troublesome.

I usually avoid that until I get the destiny knot and another region’s ditto with perfect IV and the nature I need.

i dont think there are elite 4.. what pokemon you want? i could help

If you want to trade, vs other people, see people in the wold areas, and join other people's camp, yes.

New game is way easy to breed at least, quality of life improvements regarding that. Anyway with mints and etc it's a lot easier for good natures, and also could boost stats somewhat unlimited now

I’ve not reached the end game yet.
But isn’t stats determined by nature + level + IV + EV ?
There is a way to overcome this limit ?

I also not end game yet, but I just heard breeding is easier than ever before. At least a lot more hassle free.
Unlimited part also I heard from someone, not sure how true is that lol. Just checking reddit Pokemon discord lol.

Probably the proteins, etc that boost ev. Now you can use unlimited amount and at once. Handy

Breeding can pass egg move between pokemon now, father to mother. No need to hatch egg.

That makes more sense.
In USUM, raising EV isn’t hard/tedious.
Just have to be patient with the island.

Good to know it’s even easier now.

What’s left is just an item to change your ability to a hidden ability. I realize among the 3 starters, Scorbunny is the most competitively viable Pokémon with its protean like hidden ability.

I don't breed much really so i'm not so sure how to say. But yeah what malakus said is right unlimited amount at once.

And yeah at least get 6 badges before breeding, since you can get most of the good Pokemons after getting surf.

Nice thing about surf in this gen is you can just ride your bike into rhe water lol no more command prompt

I’ve just reached the first gym.
I’ve only done breeding once.
A Scorbunny I got from surprise trade with a zigzagoon.
As of now, breeding doesn’t seem too different.

Will try to breed a hone edge later today.

I’m also looking for a good grass type.
Not sure if there are any I can catch now.
Was hoping to use serperior (contrarian) and breloom(technician)... but those 2 aren’t in the game anymore and I can’t find another grass Pokémon as good as them.

I've been using Grookey for grass. Good enough gor ingame battles lol

But I've read Appletun is pretty good. Don't know if it's true. Grass/dragon. Got ability that double berry effect, recycle, recover move.

Slow though.. 30 spd

Not a big fan of slow dragons, but I guess I’ll have a look.
They removed all the good dragons like dragonite, mega mence, charizard x and garchomp... so now rarely used dragons have a chance.

I stopped breeding ever since Fairy type is a thing.. love my dragon team, but now easily rekt by Togekiss lol

Especially against slower dragons. Togekiss can flinch your Pokémon nonstop haha.
I feel dragon types are quite badly nerfed this gen.
While strong fairy types like mimikyu and clefable is still around.
