Gonna say something controversial. Cc6 is a very grippy tyres. Yes you heard it. Tyre patterns plays a role in grip, but even more on compound. Cc6 is relatively soft, I have driving very aggressively with it and it does good. Though this is only meant on dry, wet I'm not sure.
Harder compound tyres tend to last longer against wear.

this is surprising actually.
u see im not saying cc6 does not have grip, its just i mean look at the tyre pattern.
from the second section to the inner section, all of that pattern is for noise reduction, where in general the outer most patch of thr tyre are for grip purpose.
i look at the cc6 outer section patch, so so very tiny. like maybe thr most tiniest outer patch of tyre i ever seen.
so in theory, this will not have very high grip, i mean in theory.

Your theory is very very true. There are a lot of factor affects grip. Compound, tyre pattern, operating temperature and many many more.

Can learn more here. Well, our tyres are just like f1 tyres(extreme comparison). F1 tyres has no pattern, is flat to maximize contact. The compound of the tyre depends the grip and wear cycle.
For normal.consumer tyres, tyre are mix batch of everything, since we drive in wet dry pot holes etc, most are all rounder tyres. Cc6 made soft compound to absorb noise, it got extra benefit such as grip due to the intrinsic property of soft compound.

I very much agree Cc6 tyre pattern is weird and perhaps that pattern is not that grippy, but the material has compensated that weakness. For wet, I'm not sure. The groove don't look confident to me to conduct water.
