intending to change my wife's myvi tires soon. been researching which is the most 'value for money' tires and CC6 is always pops up.

However, I dont have that full confidence in Continental tires due to 2 reasons;

1. my ex boss told me his car (old waja) skidded and knocked another car during a wet road condition after just few months using contiental cc1, after that, he ban continental tires forever.

2. i just had an over-steer yesterday (car spun 360 degrees) in a wet roundabout (back tires CC5, 95% thread, mfg yr 2013 and front tires Dunlop J5 98% thread mfg yr 2016) while driving at speeds around 40kmh. (in an old corolla without VSC) blame the road got oil spill or is it tire problem?

Any comments on the wet grip for cc6? over-steering or skidding cases?

i drive my wife's car everyday. we carpool to work tongue.gif and my wife's driving style isnt slow either.  brows.gif

so a safe, comfortable tyre is quite important. haha. currently the stock silverstone powerblitz although noisy due to low thread, has still reasonable grip compared similar thread level goodyear tires. does not skid or wheelspin easily.

If like that, please use Michelin Pilot Sport 3 or 4.. hehe.. ur life depend on it especially when speeding.. the braking distance shorten and the grip is marvelous, in raining i can say very good.. dry no need to say, maybe on par with RE003 or a bit lower..
