wtf are they doing there in the first place

One Turkish soldier killed, five lightly wounded in clashes in Syria - military

*
Creating a buffer for themselves. Although they have hired out the footwork to rebels, Turkish Army still send tanks and probably air strike coordinators as support.

But this incursion is a Turkish only endeavor. US already back out their support because Turkish attacks their ally SDF as well that is providing foot soldiers against ISIS.

Syrian has every right to bomb the fuck out of them since this is an invasion.
*
Yes they do but they have bigger problems to deal with. Turkey's main concern seems to be Kurdish regions being united in northern Syria. By intervening with their own supported rebels against ISIS, they hope to prevent that wedding in between two cantons.

And the day those Turkish positions was bombed was also the anniversary of the Russian jet downed by Turkish Air Force.

Coincidence or some kind of reminder that Russia has not forgotten.

Houthis are Iranian backer Shia militants.

Their chants are also similar to Iranian chants but you don't hear much from Iran nowadays.

Saudi Arabia are the competing regional enemy of Iran. Also claimed to be a puppet/proxy of Israel and USA which is why for Houthis, Saudi Arabia is part of their greater struggle against Israel/USA.

Do people here actually had shoot a gun with surefire mag before? How do we about its performance, ergo, et al?

It's all sounds like people are salty to see indonesian operators with their high tech equipments
*
I did't know Surefire mags were considered hi-tech.

A lot of reason why these long magazines are not used. I am not military but common sense dictates that;

When lying prone, your profile is higher in order to aim and shoot your rifle.

100 rounds of bullets makes your gun heavy to carry and maneuver.

Your rifle gets in a way of moving around terrain like bushes, shrubs etc.

bad in terms of?
gripen is also a very capable aircraft nothing wrong with that
they also the only one company that can offer lease option
*
Mainly because I thought Rafale was a more modern and complete package. While Gripen was the budget choice.

heli vs narcos in mexico

*
Actually first part of the video without sound is from the Turkish coup. Military Heli attacking the police compound. And police officers firing back at the heli.

Second part with sound is the actual footage of the cartel boss being taken out with a minigun.

Currently in Syria, the ACV15 is being used against ISIS by Turkish and their allied forces.

Malaysia also have this AFV right? Looks like a good way to gauge the battle performance even though Malaysia already replacing it with AV8s.

nowadays bandits shoot all kinds of anti tank missiles like tow. milan , metis M , Kornets ..etc not just RPG

I think the current Syria and Iraq conflict has shown that in open areas, ATGMs is a very effective deterrent against mass armor.

It is low profile, infantry operated, extreme range and accuracy is really its selling point. Expensive for sure but very effective in flat terrain.

Maybe due to the angle, but the Gempita look bigger than the Pendekar. But maybe due to the Pendekar low profile.
