I have check the lcs status seem like it already pointless to say anything more as most of the on order lcs were already completed or under construction.
Freedom class is the cheapest ~usd400mil the independent class ~usd780mil.
They seem to have solve lot of problem on the freedom class that suffer on the first freedom class ship.

I feel this isn't the right way to go and something of a downgrade.

All things considered, the Caesar is just a normal artillery piece that has a built-in towing truck. For one thing there's no auto-loader and no cover for the crew.....

MICA is definitely very cool to have on a ship this small, but it seems kind of overkill for an oversized patrol boat

Thinking it probably is meant to be a meat shield for high value assets in wartime

tracked and wheeled got their own pros & cons
both got their own role in the battlefields
not sure why one should replace the other

But armiers are moving back to advance medium tank with 105mm guns.

What's the point of a "medium tank " when that's basically a full fledge Soviet MBT

No man, its not as easy as that, and most countries don't have the industrial and technical knowhow to do it. Even UK having difficulty delivering ships because of this, and some say there's a doubt whether US is really capable of designing a working new warship from scratch - other than the problematic LCS and dead-end Zumwalt programs, they're only building modded versions of Burke which is a late Cold War design.

MEKO and DCNS are actually decent choices by our navy. Too bad we have RM problems and of course Boustead have to makan their share

That still depend on how the navy view the project.
Lot of navy dislike it from what I heard.
so if donald get negative review on the project and he felt the project too expensive.
Lcs could be in the chopping board.
