AGREED! I am Cradleton buyer. Feel cheated by sales agent who emphasis the backlane and landscape to us.
Next month to VP but the site progress are not on par to their promises.
I cant accept this kind of backlane and cow grass. No flowers within.the precint? 600k+ are hard earn money, dont treat us like cow.

Ecoworld staff here?
Please IMPROVE those changeable little things for better landscape and backlane.
Delay VP when things are seriously not right. Dont fail us!

Would you?

Compared to other products (SEG and TH and DC), yes,  the product is rubbish.
Mr. Aaron, EM sell hard and promised backyard garden (lifestyle, British colonial, Swan like elegant feel), 2.5 years ago in their then sales gallery at jalan semenyih. But did u see the back lane they are going to deliver next month? Not rubbish?

I agreed. Frankly, I was so disappointed to see the monthly site progress pictures. EW can't deliver what their sales team has promised the buyers. I'd called EM to voice my disappointment over the backlane garden design. I was told that it's too early to place judgement on what they will deliver. Excuse me, it's not too early as it's only weeks to VP now.

I would be disappointed if this is how the 'final' backlane looks like or going to be, even with a few planter boxes. Why can't they plant shrub or small plants along the backlane? The backlane is so empty without any design and nothing make it looks better than other terrace house project's backlane. I won't complain if Ecoworld SA didn't promise an inviting garden at the backlane as one of their main selling points. Now, I, as a buyer, would definitely feel cheated if this is the case. I don't have high expectation but they should at least deliver what they have promised. I don't mind toothpick trees as they will grow into big trees later. But they should have enough number of toothpick trees around the neighbourhood. I'm sure the landscape costs have been budgeted into the project and EW should deliver what they have promised. No high expectation, nothing fancy but please deliver what you have promised, Ecoworld. One month to VP, I can wait before I pass my judgement.

Some strong words there in this forum I like it and it's factual but I think there's another category of buyer who still hope that the final would be different. I WAS one of it until it's obviously blunt that that's not going to happen. The house itself still look nice for me but the landscaping is no where near premium at all. Just need to look at EM's neighboring developer Diamond City to see how beautiful it's their landscape. Not to mention they didn't need time to grow their trees but that was never my issue. It's the density of the landscape and the overall feel.

And another major disappointment is the Eco Lorong as you said, it's unethical. No point in having the world best services attitude if the basic promise can't be fulfilled. To me it can be called cheating, whether the promise was on paper or not. I have seen enough buyers being promised verbally.

Yes, backlane deliver or not doesn't represent everything. They can success on backlane, fail on building quality or likewise.
They are not necessarily related.
Even the contractor are different party.

This should be a totally different topic.
The concern now is a developer that been selling on their landscaping skills are not showing their efforts to deliver in landscape.

Yes, the EW isn't selling just the house but house with nice lanscaping around and that makes a big different to the buyers. If they delivered a bare lorong or a backlane with just 2 planter boxes, they shouldn't make it as their selling points at the very first place. Buyers are buying not just the houses itself but also the environment as a whole. This is package that make people willing to pay for the premium price tag. I'm not saying that Cradleton is expensive terrace house but it's 100k more compare with EH at year 2012. So, if they are selling their landscaping, buyers are expecting it with nothing less...
