Toyo not high end? Lel.

But the list is so subjective

Toyo cheap ? Lol

Ya..super subjective.

Good year,
GT3: Sampah tyre
Eagle F1: Good tyre

Michelin,
XM2: Lousy tyre
Pilot Sport 4: Good tyre

How to put into perspective because each brand also got its own high end and lousy tyre types.

Cheap tire = good for daily driving on dry road with speed less than highway limit, if rain better stop and drink mamak

Cheap tire = less than 150 for 15" below

Bought two sportiva super 300 215/50R17 for RM434 each... Here is the story:
My car tire punctured on highway at few kilometer past Rawang towards Melaka. Two Indian mechanics 'coincidentally' passing by and offered to help. I have no choice as I have a wife and baby girl waiting beside the road in the middle of no where... they asked what tire brand I wanted to replace with, I said lets get back continental. So they took out the tires including the rims and brought back to their shop at Rawang (they claimed so) to change to the new one.
They came back with two tires with the sticker on it stating Sportiva manufactured by Continental. It was suspicious as no continental logo printed on the tire but what else I can do as I am in the middle of no where and wanting the rescue desperately. So I just made the payment through online transfer on the spot using mobile phone as I didn't have over 1k cash with me.
Along with the tires cost, the workmanship was RM160 and transportation fee was RM180. Totaling to RM1208.

Anyone know how much the Sportiva super 300 215/50R17 actually cost?

Exploded ? Dangerous.

1. What Goodyear model was it ?
2. Tyre manufactured when ?
3. Tyre pressure applied ?
4. What speed were you traveling ?
5. Was the tyre still with thread or without ?
6. Was it dry or wet condition when tyre burst ?

Do you remember hitting anything which may have damage the tyre substantially or grazing the tyre which could have impede its performance ?

Like grazing the curb or low barriers or perhaps did you bump into something before the explosion ?
