Hello sifus. Below is my PC spec

Motherboard: Asus P75H55-M
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 2800MHz
GPU: Sapphire R9 280X Toxic
Others: 8GB ram
Casing: Armagedddon Microton T2Z (micro ATX casing)
This is not my pc, just to show the design of the casing

PSU: Seasonic S12II-620

Case fan air flow direction

GPU Temprature I monitor while playing GTA5 on High settings (default) with Speedfan
GPU - 89 (i read it is ok if it below 90, but while running GTA5, the GPU is almost hitting 90)

I barely feel any air coming out from the back of the case, and I can feel my case is very hot and air blow from top case fan is hot too. I am not using branded case fan like CM/Corsair. I'm using normal case fan for my rear and top case fan, Aigo for front case fan(bought from china)

Is the temperature ok? How do I improve it? Does branded case fan necessary? Each CM fan cost about RM30 which is kinda steep.

Please help notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Thanks

It's hot..

Do this outside unless you want to vacuum after you finish,

- Check your casing intake and exhaust fan grills, the fan blades and remove clean all dust..

- remove the psu, unscrew all cover screws.. remove the fan connector, clean the fan blades, Take a paint brush and brush out all the dust..

- If you have an air compressor use that..

Reinstall and check the temperature again..

If the gpu temps are still higher than 75°C, you need to clean out your gpu fan and test again

If that still doesn't work you can try to remove and reapply thermal paste to the gpu cooler

make sure you have isopropyl alcohol and thermal paste standby to do the job..

If that doesn't work consider selling off your pc and buy a new one..

Thanks, but I guess should ditch all undusting work because my casing fan, GPU, PSU, casing are new (less than 1 month old), they are dustless. I have cleaned the CPU heatsink and fan with dust blower before moved the CPU and Mobo to new casing.

Most of the stuffs are new which makes me feel very weird with the high temp
