hmm... have you been to their shop? Not sure about the Monaliza and I only bought from their shop (didn't even know they have a website until you mention it), typical computer IT shop setup in Low Yat, won't say its like pasar malam....

Tats the thing... Alot or most shops in Lowyat r not partners to the big brand.. most of they take stock from Sns network.. which means they not control by the terms n condition set by the brand..

For the candy case, Dell hv the right to forfeit the warranty... This not like swapping the hdd to ssd.. this is modifications on the structure..

U try buy Asus n change hdd to ssd n send in direct to service centre n listen to what they say... Normally the reseller will ask u to send back to them first then they will remove the ssd n put back the hdd to send in for RMA

Those partner like brightstar, Sns network(nb plaza in Lowyat), czone, thundermatch, n etc they won't do this coz is risky n might tainted their name..

PS : for the ts who received the 5567 tat without the odd..u can reject n ask for refund.. coz tats not wat u order... Or call Dell to find out apa jadi...1800880432

I have a question. Wont putting an ssd into the dvd drive slot, bottleneck the speed of the ssd?

depends on your hdd caddy, certain model only has 3gbps(1.5gbps sometimes), sometimes got full speed.
