hi all..
I jz bought LCD tv and it has vga input..i try to connect my xbox360 using the vga cable,but then,it says no signal..same goes when i try to connect to my lcd monitor..i've tried 2 vga cables..same problem..

could be that your 2 vga cables is faulty perhaps ?

you bought original ? or third party or..... "local" ?

hakhak..both 3rd party..guess i hav to buy orignal one..bro djiin..can i bring my cables to ur place and chechk for me?if both KO..i buy MS vga cable..actually wanna use it to upscale dvd oni..still no budget to buy HD DVD add on..for now..i stick with component lor..how much u selling the HD DVD add on?

i dont think it's the VGA cable, it might be the LCD TV... can u try connect a pc/notebook to confirm the TV is working?

coz i've experienced this before, the LCD TV wont accept HD signal (both vga and component)... it says 'no input' or something like that... called the technician over... he configured something in the secret menu (i hv no idea what, i wasn't there that time), and walla... can accept VGA liao. it's LG brand btw

huh ? I thought all LCD can accept VGA input... or maybe I just tried on my 42 inch LCD r7 Samsung model only.. straight away plug and play.. no problem..

but... the quality is way to bright... so use back component input.

like tonmj said it could be the tv... had a similar problem... it wouldn't accept the vga input... called the technician over and it was solved...

No la~.. really.. VGA input using on my R7 colours is way off, brightness is way off too.. (with the Ca... li....bra.....tion..... technic included )

mine is LG too.guess i should call technician to check it out..component no problem at all..
