if every grab drivers don't accept the rm4 or rm3 promo fare, or accept and cancel the ride, grab will have learn a lessons, sometimes is good to gang up ... have unity .. just passed the news and tell every grab drivers not to accept those rm4 or rm3 promo fare, what's the point to accept and waste time and petrol and most of this are short trips. Most of this riders don't accept the ride. If the promo comes with certain conditions like rm20 or above you could get the discounts, other wise just a waste of drivers time and petrol.

another good thing about GrabHitch is entire fare is yours to keep, no commission paid to Grab.

how does grab hitch works? especially the fare? let say you are driving to KLCC and fare for a normal GrabCar is rm30, so in grab hitch let say got 3:passengers going to KLCC, so each only needs to pay rm10?

am I correct or correct me please.

taking a a few rides to klcc and back to puchong earlier today and got to chat with the drivers. an uber driver told me that uber does not suspend their drivers but only lower rating , where as another grab driver told me grab can simply suspend driver from a compliant from the rider. it does not need to be proven, how scary is this .. they said for a rider to be suspended drivers need to show proof. really one sided and biased.

which apps are you referring to?

Grab app only diplays distance to rider. So, anything more than 3km, I ignore.

Uber app displays time taken to reach the rider. So, anything more than 8 minutes, I will ignore. If, however, the surge is really high (more than 1.8x), I might consider 8, 9 or 10 minutes away.

Better to drive when they is an Uber Surge or don't drive? Is it true uber rider this days don't pay Extra for traffic jam?

After this no one will cancel a booking. neither rider nor driver want to do that. so how? I wander.

Certain comments from the link above are interesting " “When a customer is in a hurry, of course lah we will choose to cancel drivers 20 minutes away,” he said. “And if cancelling isn’t allowed, why is there a cancel button in the app? And what if there is a life and death emergency and the driver is 20 minutes away? Do we wait or do we get our accounts suspended?”

If you ask me, customers properly cancelling bookings should be appreciated and not be suspended. After all, customers don’t normally cancel rides just because they want to. They usually have good reasons.

Sadly, Grab feels there is no need for a proper inquiry before suspending an account. I guess the customers are not priorities, eh Grab?

Many Malaysians have become dependent on the service offered by Grab. While we are grateful for the service, I do think Grab should take its customers more seriously. Do not only be the champions of your drivers because it is us the customers who have made you the champion.

Don’t make us suspend your service, Grab.
