Part-time Uber and GrabCar drivers are not excluded from declaring their earnings to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB), says chief executive officer Sabin Samitah.

He said if the earnings from providing the service, coupled with their fixed income exceeded the minimum threshold of RM30,000 a year, they would be subjected to taxation.

"The income (from Uber and GrabCar) must be declared as additional income in Form B," he told a press conference during IRB's Hi-tea with the media in Kuala Lumpur today.

How to open and declare in b form? All maintenance, petrol can count?

If I have a fix job, means I need fill in be and b form?
But my friend told just fill in b form, put the fix iincome salary under b form... is it true

How can B form not allow.

checking on the statement issue by grab, notice that the fares collected is much higher than what I recorded.

I doubt if you fill into the B form with this amount, you will pay more to tax.
Yet, we cant prove to the tax officer that we actually collected lesser fare then what is stated by the system.

Could nof be so much toll...

I think they add up grahshare bonus into fares collected...

If you did grab last year, this year have to declare in b form.

I will stress if not able get 3 trips in UP and MP block.

Cancellation rating drop only when you accept the trip then cancel the trip at any reason.
