the cutting fit quite ok la. so i just use 1-2 clips only (the rest i keep as a spare). my main concern is for my kid and wife at rear seat..so i just let the sun shade stay. i didt use at the driver side.

QUOTE(crayzee @ Mar 1 2017, 12:44 PM) You need special 3M double sided tape. Use the 3M VHB double sided tape. Should be around rm15 per roll if not mistaken. I peel that 3m tape off after trying few attempts. Then I replaced it with other strong double sided tape and still couldnt stick.Tried looking for 3m tape but couldnt find,so I just grab any strong double sided tape. |

U might need to clean that area with alcohol 1st. Maybe it's oily or something. When appllying, need to press for about 30s.Tried looking for 3m tape but couldnt find,so I just grab any strong double sided tape. ACE hardware got sell, but is more expensive. Tesco also got sell but they packaging shown as 3M super strong, i don't see VHB on it. Might be different. 3M info http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_U...d=1361596607182 This post has been edited by crayzee: Mar 1 2017, 12:55 PM |

This thing can really shield you from the sun. But it gets quite annoying coz if you don't move your head, you'll be having issues trying to read something.
Brothers is selling at a higher price than Mr. DIY but has more variety (different cars). Around RM80+. If you want original, get Groovy Shades but I'm not sure why it's so expensive compared to this. This post has been edited by FlamingFox: Mar 1 2017, 01:41 PM |

bought this....the size doesnt really fit the window and its impossible to remove the sun shade without removing the brackets.
Its because the brackets is locking the shade frame, need to tilt the shade to remove or install. Is that normal? I thought the shade can be removed anytime easily ? https://www.lazada.com.my/custom-fit-oem-su...68.html?boost=2 |
