A little regret porting to Webe, the speed and latency fluctuate a lot even though it use Celcom 3G network which previously i had no problem with. I could even play Dota 2 with 60ms-80ms when i'm still using Celcom but now it's like over 1 sec delay.
Gonna switch back to Celcom if this doesn't improve in couple of months. |

QUOTE(Supreme1394 @ Dec 21 2016, 10:55 AM) Some users here report godlike speed, some average, some slow like a snail until terminate. I was just considering porting to webe but am having second thoughts now. The speed fluctuate like a roller coaster for me, one moment 7Mbps no problem then another minute only 1Mbps then 3Mbps then 2.33Mbps then 4Mbps then 0.8Mbps then shoot back to 7Mbps. Using 3G and i did not move an inch. When i'm still using Celcom the speed usually 4Mbps-6Mbps stable. Even the ping fluctuate which make online gaming impossible. |

Does VPN will uncap the speed 100%?
QUOTE(xtremyx @ Dec 21 2016, 08:52 PM) do they cap download speed? I downloaded CM Rom, speed also around 230-250 KBps although all speed test website show 4-7 Mbps.i got max 250 kbps downloading files most of time even though fast.com/speedtest shown 7-8 mbps. QUOTE(yhsiau @ Dec 22 2016, 10:54 AM) nah, streaming is capped at 2mbps so not enough for smooth 720p. |

QUOTE(adamw @ Dec 22 2016, 02:54 PM) What speed you get when downloading this file? https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/downlo...6_64-25-1.3.isoI get full 1MB/s with my 8MB Stimix but below 200KB/s with Webe. Speedtest get 6MB though. |

QUOTE(Anime in HD @ Dec 23 2016, 01:02 AM) Don't know about that, my phone only support 3G and the moment i switch on VPN my connection is more stable. 250Kbps is pretty sustainable while without it my speed will jump up and down all over the place, its like some aggressive throttling happening in the background.Ignore Speedtest because you won't get that speed. |

QUOTE(acat @ Dec 23 2016, 09:57 PM) please check yourself at www.gsmarena.com and look for lte band. if it stated band 5 (850) then yes it can support webe 4g. otherwise, it can use 3g just fine. dont worry. QUOTE(carz @ Dec 23 2016, 10:46 PM) For each model, there are different variants for different markets, with different support for different bands. Or check at the phone official website like Xiaomi Mi Max case which GSMArena didn't list LTE band 5 support for the phone. You need to check if the information on www.gsmarena.com applies to your model variant |

QUOTE(izwanikhsan @ Dec 24 2016, 08:39 PM) Since they use celcom 3g network, does the quality similar to Celcom or of lesser quality? I am using XPAX and to me it's not too fast. 1-3mbps on Fast.com and speedtest. Akan di anak tiri kan. I hope Webe will increase the 4G coverage near my area so i can upgrade my phone. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 25 2016, 09:01 AM) new telco, ongoing expansion. normal la. I know, just a little salty when 4G coverage near here is not at populated area or at mid town but instead on low density housing near jungle. give them some time. there are sure hiccups along the way. treat it like rookie mistake. |
