I try 2 usb modem both also can connect. I think all usb modem can connect as long we plug in directly to usb port of the laptop.
Also u will need to pay to tether in whatever method u using to shared. No bypass.

Anyone tried with one of those old celcom/maxis usb modems? Abt to jump ship but dont wanna waste rm80+ if cant use 😅 also if using those 3g-only modem how's the speed? Good or just so-so?

I think u better take new number.. don't take risk using current number. or u can ask around the people at your place about webe service. if confirm okay. then use current number.
