QUOTE(shift @ Nov 27 2016, 12:17 PM)
Hi all,

I already try to connect using below method:
1) Normal USB modem + Router with USB modem capability connect thru wire : FAIL

2) MIFI : FAIL

3) MIFI using USB cable : FAIL

4) HP using USB cable : FAIL

5) HP Hotspot: FAIL

All above method when insert back sim card to HP, got sms frm WEBE "U have not activated Personal WIFI on this mobile''.
6) Using normal USB modem 3G/4G direct plug in to laptop : PASS

U will not get 4G if the modem no Band 5(850) capability, u will get 3G only roaming on Celcom network.
So far no extra charge when using usb modem
*
Wah so many tries...
Well it's confirm USB modem works rclxms.gif
But too bad its 3g only..

this one supposed can rite? mine like this. celcom broadband.
shud i convert my current num to webe, or choose another number for testing first?
if line not ok, then no problem. but if line is ok, only then convert my current num. but 2x registration lor like that one. any advice?
*
based on info posted, yes can be used. but I think the modem is 3G only right..

as for port over. I think u better take new number.. don't take risk using current number.

or u can ask around the people at your place about webe service. if confirm okay. then use current number.

TM protecting their other arm which are streamyx and unifi. Lessons learnt from other Malaysian Telco before, when the minority user abusing the bandwidth it will affected most other ordinary user. People will complain about network congestion.  Webe following USA/UK telco business model which offering unlimited data but restricting free tethering.
*
spot on..

some hardcore users will abuse the bandwidth thus effecting others users too bangwall.gif
