adamw.  You can try the LTE Discovery app
Let us know if it works, and if it can tell what bands your phone support too
*
That was the first app I use, no details!

Band 40 are rolling out in Klang Valley. No news on Band 38.

Possible wrong reading? Band 40 instead of 38 as shown?

Guess I would bet on Band 38 2600MHz since my Le2 already shown as connected to Band 38.

Adamw,
How did you get cellmapper to display the bands?    I tick on "estimate frequency bands and bandwidth"  but it does not show the band.  Tried restarting the app and rebooting,  still don't work
*
What phone are you using? Android? Rooted?

Thanks.    At that location there is no band 40 active right?   So either I lock into band 5 LTE or 3G right?

Sorry yah,  a bit hard to  visualize for me,  can you post the location on Google maps here?
*
I only have the picture! Band 5 LTE.

Lenovo vibe x3, android.  Not rooted.    When on 3G, it shows bandwidth information.  On 4G it doesn't show band or  bandwidth.

Was wondering if there is a difference in what would be displayed  between 4G in band 5 and band 40 (tdd2300).

Have you ever locked in to band 5?
*
You need a rooted phone to display the LTE band.

Maybe different lte band connected. At home my Le2 with band 38 can get 20Mb+ but Rn3 on band 5 only about 12Mb.
