this model not support band 3, 38, 40
I think u better ask this local modem guy which modem guaranty to work with webe.

Call them but don't have usbmodem that works with webe4g. But they can help to unlock my Maxis ZTE MF190 usbmodem to work with webe3g for RM20.

Yup, agree. But speedtest shows result from Malaysia servers which are hosted by our ISP here, like YES, webe, DiGi, Maxis, TM, MYREN, etc. But some "smart people" thinks that ookla speed test gives fake result. Here I explain why is the result from fast.com is differ with speedtest.net. First, fast.com set up their server in USA, not in Malaysia or Asia, that's why your speed will be degraded when it is tested on fast.com. Only few of the ISPs in Asia can give full speed when you are connected to USA. For an example, I am using VIP 5. When I test my speed on speedtest.net, I get 4.6Mbps, but when I test on fast.com, I only get 3.8Mbps.

Yeah. Tried using 720p setting, so far no problem. But you might have to wait a minute or two to allow the video to load first

I'd say hold on to buying new LTE modems first unless you have $$$ to spare.

Personally, since webe already announced their deployment plans. I'd just use any DC-HSPA capable modem now and wait for the Cat6 USB modem that supports both FDD Band 5 850MHz and TD Band 40 2300MHz with Carrier Aggregation become mainstream. Right now, I can only find MiFi that fit these criteria.

I doubt that but need to try it to be sure. Basically, you'll need to dialup from your computer for Webe to work. If the connection is made from the MiFi itself, it would be using NAT to share the connection to your computer. That means you'll need to subscribe the tether service.

Adamw,
How did you get cellmapper to display the bands? I tick on "estimate frequency bands and bandwidth" but it does not show the band. Tried restarting the app and rebooting, still don't work
