QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Apr 28 2007, 08:43 PM) Got a question to ask. My vista score 4.5 on memory with 2* 512 ddr2 ram. Today i just bought 2*1GB DDR2 ram 667 and it seems that after update my score it still at 4.5 on memory. Why? Btw, my notebook is using 950GMA. Scoring Gaming at 3.1 while graphic at 3.2. It stay the same as when i am using 2*512MB DDR2 667 ram. The big question is why 2GB VS 1GB i still got the same score? Even update twice also same. Both only 4.5 leh..Why? Navigate to %systemdrive%\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore\ and delete everything inside. After that, run Windows Performance Assessment Tool again.

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Apr 30 2007, 01:24 PM) Hmm, i dun understand bout FSB and sorts.. So is there something wrong with the ram or wat? Nothing is wrong. Since it is a mobile C2D, the rated FSB is indeed ~667Mhz. With CPU multiplier 10, you will get the resulting ~1.6Ghz clock speed. As stated in your cpu-z, the core speed is rated at 997.5Mhz because the multiplier is reduce to 6 due to EIST. Somehow, i still don't understand why doesn't your WEI increase after adding another piece of RAM. According to the WEI documentation, the rating will increase proportionally with the amount of RAM installed. This post has been edited by mystical zero: Apr 30 2007, 01:44 PM

QUOTE(dopodplaya @ Apr 30 2007, 03:31 PM) Heh, I got 4.5 with 1.5GiB and 1GiB RAM (DDR) too. Heh, that means DDR2 doesn't make sense for Vista, isn't it? I'm not very sure about it. But, according to the Windows Vista Team Blog, only those with 1.5GB RAM and above will break the 4.5 limit of WEI.
