this scores mean nothing.
dont even get the purpose of this thread.

the generalization of the scores.
it doesnt mean a balance system.
i still prefer everest with sandra as a benchies.

everyone should contribute on the problems with vista...
my guess is they dont even realise ,, most of them...
so far i managed to get vista working 60 percent to what i wanted.
still trying to figure out a way to increase the fan speed other then using flashing the bios.

the 5.9 is fake...

first the mem will not be 5.9 as its based on speed and performance of the ram which he no way can achieve unless its overclocked on the fsb.

second the hdd is fake also... u need raid 0 or 500gb 16mb cache or raptor to get 5.9
third his cpu score is fake too.

only when i went to qx6800 was i able to get 5.9

all i can tell u guys is this
at 3.8ghz on c2d i can get 5.9

heck even at 3.2ghz on and qd u can get 5.9

the rest u already know my score.

this is all based on a nvidia platform
technically u need lower ghz on intel platform to achieve the same score.

my statement above was to refute some dude with false scores a few pages back

scores for cpu: with quads u get higher scores... c2d proven that intel/nvidia mobo chipsets differ
mem: based on bus speeds being closer to 1:1 with rams..

and dude... i dont have to push my comp to get 5.9.. its running 5.9 on all the scores at stock.

because of ure BUS is at 1066
try to up it to 1333 with multi 9 to make ure proc at 3ghz..

u should be hitting 5.9 on rams now.

sishhh HDD SCORes are based on transfer rates.a raptor 36gb or a 74gb will already get 7.9..
and all those large hdd has faster transfer rates..
and especially seagates 7200.10's

not space..
