QUOTE(V3000 @ Apr 13 2007, 10:07 PM) Ya mean nothing in general.. the generalization of the scores.I think MS make this for us to know how good our machine can handle Vista. But what happen around me this days was like this: "My machine get 5.9 lowest subscore leh no OC leh power neh?!! Why yours only 2.0? your hardware soo ah bengz de!" What i mean is.. On this Boleh Land, this scores is to show off how pro their machine or how rich their father is Cheers! it doesnt mean a balance system. i still prefer everest with sandra as a benchies. everyone should contribute on the problems with vista... my guess is they dont even realise ,, most of them... so far i managed to get vista working 60 percent to what i wanted. still trying to figure out a way to increase the fan speed other then using flashing the bios. the 5.9 is fake...
first the mem will not be 5.9 as its based on speed and performance of the ram which he no way can achieve unless its overclocked on the fsb. second the hdd is fake also... u need raid 0 or 500gb 16mb cache or raptor to get 5.9 third his cpu score is fake too. Added on July 31, 2007, 3:55 pmi have posted here somewhere the spec of my comp with the x6800 was 5.8 only when i went to qx6800 was i able to get 5.9 This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jul 31 2007, 03:55 PM |

QUOTE(Bigblock @ Jul 31 2007, 11:33 PM) Yeah tht's true..but i'm still happy with its performance.I OC'd it a lil bit nie coz my rams were getting too hot. not going to waste my time postingOverall i'm very satisfied with my system Added on July 31, 2007, 11:40 pm cstkl1 you hav a screenshot of your new updated QX6800? With high specs you should reach around there but the max for vista is 5.9 right? all i can tell u guys is this at 3.8ghz on c2d i can get 5.9 heck even at 3.2ghz on and qd u can get 5.9 the rest u already know my score. this is all based on a nvidia platform technically u need lower ghz on intel platform to achieve the same score. QUOTE(LongBeforeHorn @ Aug 8 2007, 12:10 AM) There is no basis to your augument. As long as your rig meet the WEI score encoded into the algotirh it will get to 5.9 max with the latest gears. No matter now much more you push your machine, you won't go beyond 5.9 period. ure smoking some dope or what..Until Microsoft release a patch (maybe SP1 or later) that raise the number beyond 5.9. Have fun pushing your machine to get to 5.9. never said anything about going past 5.9 every idiot out there knows 5.9 is the current limit... my statement above was to refute some dude with false scores a few pages back scores for cpu: with quads u get higher scores... c2d proven that intel/nvidia mobo chipsets differ mem: based on bus speeds being closer to 1:1 with rams.. and dude... i dont have to push my comp to get 5.9.. its running 5.9 on all the scores at stock. sishhh HDD SCORes are based on transfer rates.a raptor 36gb or a 74gb will already get 7.9..
and all those large hdd has faster transfer rates.. and especially seagates 7200.10's not space.. silly little rabbits.. |
